Audacity

Rachel couldn't believe her ears. It felt like her senses were playing tricks on her. Whose voice was that? She thought to herself, staring in shock as though her eyes had lost their lights.

Her body began to tremble, and the phone slipped down to the floor. Seeing this, Stephen suspected something might have happened so he came at her.

“Mom, what's wrong?” He asked, but she was too lost to reply. After a while of staring blankly at the wider space, she spoke nervously.

“Get the car now! We are going to the White House!” She yelled. From how terrifying her actions were, Stephen was alerted that there was trouble.

He ran into the house and brought back the car key, showing it off to her eyes, and then she followed him outside. They hurriedly hopped into the car and left.
