Imposter

“What do you mean by that? Who am I?” Caroline asked, looking shocked by his sudden question after he narrowed his eyes at her.

“I said, who are you?” Harrison was firm and vigilant. This woman here looked like his wife, but he was sure she wasn’t his wife. As her husband, he knew her better than anyone since they shared the same home for years.

All the attitude, all the rage, all the yelling didn’t sound like what his wife would do. It made him begin to think something was wrong somewhere.

“What are you saying, Harrison? Isn’t that Caroline?” Grandmother stepped in, and she couldn’t understand what Harrison was saying. As she could see, it was Caroline who was standing there, but Harrison was saying something different.

“Think about it. Have you ever seen Caroline behave in such a way?” Harrison looked at grandmother as he said, and the woman mulled over her thoughts.
