It’s the right thing to do

Though it wasn't that convincing, because Harrison could never be above someone like Ramon, Caroline could only believe.

It wouldn't make sense even if she forced herself to think that way.

“Okay,” she said and both Harrison and Ramon released the breath they had been holding for long.

Quickly Ramon stood up after playing the part well. He then looked behind Caroline and saw Lucas standing right there. Both men communicated through eye movement, and it looked like Ramon was blaming him for what happened.

“We will be heading home now,” Harrison said quickly.

“Okay, how about I offer you a ride?” Ramon offered.

“No, you have done too much. At least bringing us here has lightened my wife's mood. I can't help but thank you so much” Harrison smiled.

“It's fine. I only did what was right” Ramon replied.

“We will take our leave then,” Harrison said and started walking towards the exit along with Caroline.
