It was all lies

Linda felt bruised up as she hurriedly walked out of the elevator. Everyone was now looking at her like a spineless fool or maybe a prostitute. She, who was putting on an expensive dress, now had a jacket draped around her shoulders struggling to run off.

Her thighs were almost exposed, and she was trying to draw the jacket down, but the more she did, the more another part of her body would be exposed. She felt confused and thought the only way she could save herself was to run to her car.

It wasn’t far but the eyes that were stripping her confidence were making it look like she had a lengthy path to cross.

But then now that she was out and almost to her car, she began to think of what to tell her family when she got home. What would become of her if grandmother learned what she had done? It would be a total mess that would bring disgrace upon herself.
