“Tell me, Edward. What was that about? Why don’t you tell me everything? When did you start working with those guys, and you didn’t feel like my consent was needed?” Linda snapped as soon as they walked into the house.

She had been holding it all in since they were in that house and throughout the drive until they had gotten to this mansion. Anger was written on her face as she yelled with so single fear radiating off her. If she was scared of him, that was before, but not anymore.

“What is your point here?” Edward replied, and it felt like it was his turn to do the yelling. His brows creased, and he was staring at her with pure disgust on his face. Linda had to swallow all that anger in, as she felt she wouldn’t last long with it.
