Trouble
Once again, Linda could feel the heat in the room. Her family was having a clash and what side was she supposed to choose? Already she knew there was no amount of words she could say to make both parties reconcile. She had to pick a side, and that should be immediately.

“Let’s go!” Rachel called out to Linda. She was ready to leave since the old woman said so. After all, she did point out the truth and was never sorry for what she had said. Moreover, if she was asked to point out more, she would be ready to do so.

“Mom… I…” Linda stammered, not knowing what to do. If she followed Rachel that would mean she was abandoning her grandmother, but then if she stayed with Grandmother it would also seem like she was abandoning her mother. It was too complicated for her.

Just then she took a glance at Grandmother hoping to see if the woman wanted her to stay, but then the old woman didn’t even pay attention to both of them.
