Larry frowned as he looked towards the source of the voice, wondering who the hell was it that had the mind to call his father's names.

Soon, Ramon and one other man came into view making Larry frown. He recognized the second man, but then he didn't know who Ramon was. Well, then it was normal for him not to know who Ramon was.

"I'd suppose you've got some nerves to talk to me anyhow these days, Jeffrey?" Larry frowned as he turned to the man beside Ramon.

"Tell this idiot of a man beside you who I am, or else I'm afraid I'll not listen to his pleas later."

"Well, I'd suppose you are Larry Anderson? Aren't you?" Ramon chuckled even before Jeffrey who was by his side could say anything.

"Since you know who I am, I'd suppose you should have known not to talk trash." Larry smiled.

"I'd suppose you're even more stupid than I thought, it seems like you don't know what you're in." Harrison chuckled.

"Well, that's not the case," Larry shrugged.

"Beat him up."

Harrison chuckled as he said."And who are you?" “What do you mean by sending him to Hades?” Raymond seemed confused.“You don’t know what it means? I guess both father and son are dumb” Harrison grinned. He couldn't get enough of this feeling. He intended to make Raymond grovel on his feet, and it was going as planned.“How dare you talk to my father that way?” Larry became furious. He was on the verge of lunging at Harrison at that moment, but his father's gaze was pinning him down.“Your son is failing to grasp the situation you are both locked in. I suppose I should teach him a lesson now?” Harrison smirked and started cracking his knuckles as his expression darkened.“Wait… I will do anything you want, anything” Raymond begged. Although he kept cursing the latter for putting him in this dire situation. If not for Ramon being here, he wouldn't take all this. By now, he would have ganged up on Harrison to shut him up for good.“Anything?” Harrison teased.“Yes anything”“Interesting. Okay, then. I want your company to be signed u

Outside the mall, everyone was dumbstruck to see a shabbily dressed man walking in front of men with suits. They looked to be people of a high standard, yet they were being led by a man who was looking so trashy. They had questions, but none of them dared to approach and ask. The kind of aura they felt from those men was so deadly. Even the owner of the store was shocked to see Harrison give orders to an elite like Ramon. A person no one dares mess in the whole city. This looked like a twisted fantasy to him, but he had to accept it. After all, he had agreed to sell eighty percent shares to the lad.“Ramon?” Harrison called out.“Young master” Ramon answered quickly.“I want us to partner with the Micheal's family. Which is the Lee family, right?” he asked, and Ramon nodded. “Good, make it snappy, I need it right away,” he added.“I will get it done, young master,” Ramon bowed. He didn't even try to see the reason Harrison wanted to put up a partnership, and wouldn't dare to ask. For

Harrison frowned as he watched the scene. Even though his heart was beating wildly, he still managed to keep his cool as he watched the truck that was about to run through their car.All of a sudden, another car whizzed past their car and met the incoming truck head-on. Immediately a great collision happened as the truck and the car came to a stop. But then the car was already disfigured and it was unknown if the people in the car were dead or alive. Next, the truck driver hurriedly opened the door of the truck and came out as he tried to run away."Get him, don't let him run." Ramon kept staring at Harrison while the elevator was moving to the top floor. He didn't know what the latter had up his sleeve, but he feared losing him. It was just a few weeks before he found Harrison, yet there were so many troubles coming their way. From the look of things, who attacked them was bold enough. On the other hand, Harrison was quiet. So many things were running in his mind and that was the thought of revenge. He was going to give Raymond the second phase of pain since he asked for it.The elevator came open on the top floor and Harrison walked his way into an exquisite room in which a meeting was held. Classy men in suits were seated and seemed to be having a serious conversation. Raymond was the one giving the presentation while they all listened. All of a sudden the door came open, and a furious Harrison walked in. As soon as Raymond caught sight of him he nearly jumped on his feet, but because his shareholders were around he had to calm himself.“What are you doi

He was fed up.Raymond called the meeting asking for a huge sum of money to take down a family who killed his son. He had wanted to use him to bring out the truth from Raymond, but in the end, he wasn't needed.“Where is he now?” He asked.“He is with my men in one of the vehicles running after us. You tell me what I should do with him and I will get it done” Ramon replied.“Beat him to a pulp and throw him in a cell. That should serve as a lesson for trying to take a life. The way she was dressed wasn't as classy as everyone else, so she looked more like a cleaner to them.“Someone should tell me how a cleaner got into this place?” the receptionist mocked while looking at Caroline. She figured Caroline was Harrison's wife since she took her attendance but wanted to get back at him for the words he said.“Harrison” Caroline rushed towards her husband. Even though she felt embarrassed by what she was called, she seemed unaffected by it and wanted to just leave with her husband.“Did you just call my wife a cleaner?” Harrison frowned as he looked at the receptionist. Unable to hide the disgust, she leaned towards his face and yelled.“Yes, piece of trash. The end

“You must have thought you were way too smart to be dealt with. You got me so bad that I thought I was done for. I have never faced an opponent like you and for that, I’ll give you a ten. You are damn good!” Harrison said with a hint of mockery in his tone and Edward became pissed. However, he tried to think about what went wrong to make his plan fail and how it was so hard for him to figure out what was going on. In a thousand years, he would never expect someone as low as Ramon to be able to exceed him in intellectual strategy.“What? Don’t tell me you are spacing out at such times. And why weren’t you able to figure out what was going on? I mean, you have cameras watching, don't you?” Harrison said sarcastically.Edward felt pressured and it felt like the right time for Harrison to make it harder on him. After all, Harrison suffered the same fate earlier.“How did I not figure this out?” Edward finally said, scolding himself.“Because you are so dumb to notice.” Harrison fired at h

    A miscalculated plan

Being indoors for a long while had made their senses a bit shaken off and when they had to adjust to a sudden brightness, they couldn’t help but blink their eyes multiple times.Everyone was shocked to see someone had walked into a room. An unknown someone they didn’t know but were so desperate to see his face, yet their sight was failing to adjust to the light. However, after the figure spoke, every single effect of the sudden brightness was washed off and replaced with curiosity.Starting from the leg, everyone scanned the figure from the toe, slowly heading to his face. When they arrived at the finish point, they all nearly fell on their backs.“Ramon?” Everyone yelled seemingly as though they had seen a ghost. It had to be a ghost right, or maybe their senses were playing tricks on them? They just couldn’t figure it out as their jaws were wide open, almost dropping to the floor.“Jesus Christ! What the hell is this?” Edward yelled, shaking his head from side to side to see if ever

    Boom!

Back inside the small cabin in the rural area.Edward and the others were seated on the couch watching the Television. They weren’t watching the news but something else. There were some wireless connected cameras fixed in some certain place while the television displayed each of those scenes that happened in each place Furthermore, there was a remote control in Edward’s hand, and he was able to make each scene that was showing in a mini spot on the screen occupy the whole screen, so everyone could have their view of what was happening.Right there, on the screen, it was showing that Harrison just walked into the hospital ward. Not only could Edward and the others watch what was going on, but they were able to hear the conversation that was going on.Meanwhile, Larry who was seated at the far end of the room was enjoying the show the most since he was the one who delivered the flower directly to her. He played his part so well that she was unable to recognize him. Of course, he was pu

    Strange flowers

“Linda right?” Caroline asked, and the delivery man nodded at her before handing the flowers to her. She extended her hand and grabbed the vase. It was such a perfect piece as it had an ancient drawing sculptured on it. The material looked like glass, yet it was made of wood. The way it was polished alone was unique and must be a very costly piece. At once glance, Caroline took notice of it but what she was more invested about was how nice the flowers were. She couldn't resist the urge to dip her nose into it and allow the fragrance to waft into her nostrils.Bang!Just then the door was pushed open and Lucas pushed his head in. The moment he saw her with flowers he was shocked as he knew it wasn't there before and it wasn't like he saw anyone bring it in.That was when Caroline pulled out of the enjoyable feeling she was in. Her mind ran back to the lad who brought the flowers, and she wanted to thank him but after looking she noticed he was nowhere to be found. Rather, there was Lu

    An apology

“Hello sis, how are you doing?” Linda's voice rang through the phone as soon as the call was picked up, and the receiver was left in shock. It took a while and there was no response. Nervously, Linda peeked glances at the phone to see if it was disconnected, but it wasn't.“Caroline? Are you there?” She called out again before a reply came through.“What do you want?” Caroline replied seemingly disgusted. “Are you calling to make more trouble? Remember I don't have that time at the moment, please.” She concluded and wanted to end the call when Linda spoke.“I am sorry.” She said and shockingly, Caroline couldn't bring herself to hang up. The words she just heard were too good to be true, yet it didn't feel like she was dreaming.Linda just apologized? Caroline started doubting her senses. She was unable to let herself fall for such a trap like before. She had witnessed too much and it was energy draining. Her stepmother pointed a gun at her and would have killed her if not for a mira

    The callers intention

“Shit! The police department?” Whitman murmured the words out, as he would rather not be noticed by the caller. Moreover, everyone had their guard up thinking the place was surrounded by the police. There wasn’t any siren sound or any movement, so it must be an unnoticeable operation, right? Those were the thoughts that were running inside their heads as quickly Larry and Raymond took a peep at the window but there was no one outside. They felt a sigh of relief, but that didn’t quench their suspicion. They knew not to let their guard down. Never.“Yes, who am I speaking with?” Edward replied trying hard to keep his composure. He suddenly looked calm and collected like he wasn’t the same person who was nervous not long ago.Already he had speculated that whoever it was, it had to be someone who knew him. The number was private and after picking up, the caller said he was from the police department. After realizing all this, Edward wanted to laugh out loud, but he chose to play along fi

    Stand down

“What’s the meaning of this? Why are you pointing a gun at my head?” Whitman was shocked by the turn of events. He didn’t expect them to come to his house and threaten him.“You are his ally ain’t you? I’ve seen you a couple of times with that brat called Harrison. Who knows, maybe you are here working for him undercover.” Larry spits his suspicion while Raymond nods his head in support.“Stand down!” Edward snapped but was being ignored. “I said bring the gun down!” He said again and yet no one paid a listening ear to him.“It’s the opposite. I am working with Edward here to bring Harrison down.” Whitman explained.“What? Don’t be shitting me. You are the same person who gave out our hideout to Harrison, and you want us to believe you? You should talk fast before I put four bullets into your thick skull!” Larry threatened. The look on his face was so cold, signifying his threats wasn’t a bluff. Already, he had adjusted the gun and had his finger wrapped around the trigger button. Any

    Loyal to the young master

The tension became hot and it felt like air was sucked out of their lungs leaving them dry and vulnerable. That should be the time when they should bow their heads and beg for forgiveness, but the men didn’t look like they would.Though they were shocked by his words, there was no trace of fear radiating off them. It felt like they had gradually made up their minds to accept death.Noticing this, Whitman was quite stunned. He knew their loyalty was as tough as a rock, but in the face of death, anyone was supposed to shiver.Smiling, he pulled out a gun and cracked it, then pointed it at one of them.“Swear loyalty to me and I will spare your life.” He said instead as the thought of using them against Harrison would seem befitting to him.“Tch!” All the men spat at his face at once as though they were all in sync with each other. Their eyes were stern as they held nothing but disgust. If not for the fact that they were being tied, they would have lunged at him by now.“Wrap things up
