"Young Master?" Milan's voice sounded worried, echoing softly in the quiet room.

No answer. Milan's concern began to grow. Each passing second felt like lost time. With a heart full of worry, Milan exited the room and hurried down the corridor. Bad thoughts began to creep into his mind. What happened to Arkanza? Where did he go?

Milan made his way toward the outside area, his eyes immediately landing on a figure in the distance. Arkanza, walking carefully but steadily, was jogging along the path, wearing simple workout clothes.

However, though it seemed ordinary, to Milan, every second without supervision was a moment filled with uncertainty. Milan ran towards Arkanza, his eyes filled with concern. As he almost caught up to him, he called out a little louder than usual.

"Young Master!" he called, trying to hold back the rising anxiety.

Arkanza stopped for a moment and turned to face him, his face a little pale but looking calm. "Milan, what are you doing here?"

Milan stopped a fe

"I won't talk to you until I get a servant too!" The sound of the door slamming shut startled her slightly. "Norman, we can still talk about this, dear! Please, listen to your mother first!" Maria tried to persuade her youngest child to understand their situation. They were newcomers in the lives of Arkanza and his father, but Norman had an envious nature toward his stepbrother. "Have I been too lenient with Arkanza?" Maria wondered. Ever since Albert was dismissed, Norman kept bringing up the fact that Arkanza always had a servant by his side. "Mom, what are you doing here?" asked a beautiful girl wiping her face with a small towel. It was Sunday, and Amber always spent her mornings on light exercises. "Amber, are you done, dear?" her mother asked. Amber nodded. "I looked for you in the kitchen earlier, but the servant said you went to see Norman. What’s wrong, Mom?" Maria gave a warm smile, shaking her head. "Nothing, Amber. You know how Norman is. I said the wrong

Arkanza slowly woke up from a deep sleep. The sun was beginning to set, signaling that the afternoon was about to turn into night. On the large bed, his body still lay quietly, as though nothing disturbed him. However, this time Milan, who usually sat by the door of his room waiting for orders or simply to ensure everything was going well, was absent."It feels like I’ve slept too long, but it feels strange. Why is there nothing that crossed my mind this time, not even the body’s memories or nightmares about my past?" Arkanza muttered as he tried to rise from his overly comfortable position. As he sat up, a soft knock came from the door. The door slowly opened, and Milan, his bodyguard, stood in the doorway."Sir, are you alright?" Milan asked with a concerned tone, his face usually cheerful but now slightly worried."I’m fine, Milan. How long have I been asleep?" Arkanza replied while gazing at Milan.Milan raised an eyebrow. "After you came back from the bakery, sir, you spent the e

Albert glared at Milan sharply. "No, Milan. The young master needs time to recover his body, not jump straight into activities that could be dangerous. You should know that the body needs proper warm-up to avoid injuries."Arkanza raised his hand, stopping their conversation. "Enough, both of you. I'll do the warm-up myself."Not long after, however, Albert and Milan found themselves in a silent competition. Albert suggested they train together, testing each other's abilities. Milan agreed but with one condition: they would race to determine who was more worthy of protecting Arkanza. The first competition began with a race around the field. Arkanza watched with wide eyes. Milan, with his taller frame and visible strength, started off quickly, but Albert, despite his smaller build, chased him with greater agility. The second contest was a test of endurance. They were tasked with running and completing various physical exercises, and Albert appeared to outperform Milan in stamina. Arkan

That day, the extracurricular football practice was held on a fairly spacious field, with clear weather. Norman Samanta, who was part of the school football team, looked uneasy. His recent days had been filled with dissatisfaction, and this practice seemed to be an outlet for all his frustration. On the field, he saw some of his classmates who were also team members, like Ivan and Ravi, who were increasingly showing their skills in the game.Ivan, a tall and confident teammate, was the most relied upon player on the team. On the other hand, Ravi, another teammate who was always calm and strategic, often acted as the playmaker. Norman often felt like a shadow behind them. They were both players admired by many, while he was only there as a backup player who was sometimes called to play.As the practice started, both of them already demonstrated their quality. Ivan kicked the ball powerfully toward the goal, while Ravi made a clever pass. Norman, although he had trained hard, still felt

Maria looked at Norman with deep concern. She knew very well how deeply her son felt, but she also understood that Adam wouldn't easily give his approval. Adam was very wise and cautious when it came to decisions involving servants or household staff, especially considering their family’s rather complex situation."Alright, my son, calm down. I will talk to your father. But remember, don’t let your desire make you forget what we already have. This is not just about the things or people you want, but also about how we respect one another."Norman lowered his head, calming himself for a moment. Although his heart was still filled with frustration, he felt a bit relieved knowing that Maria didn’t dismiss his desire. Slowly, he nodded, as if accepting that everything takes time and process.“Alright, Mom. I’ll wait. I hope they’re better than Milan or Albert.” Norman said quietly, but the disappointment in his eyes hadn’t completely disappeared.Arkanza massaged his temples softly, "Final

Milan sat by the still-closed door. "This is all your fault. If you hadn't returned, things like this wouldn't be happening.""You’re just a replacement. I’ve always been by the young master’s side. You should know that, which means I rightfully deserve to return to him," Albert replied calmly.Milan stood from his position, standing tall and challenging Albert."So, you think I haven’t been by his side, huh? Who can guarantee that I’ve always been by the young master’s side!?"Albert stared at Milan without flinching. "Exactly, who can guarantee that?" A slow smirk formed on his face, a sign that Milan had just revealed his own weakness."You—"CLACK...The sound of the door opening interrupted their argument."Young Master—"Albert froze the moment he saw Arkanza’s appearance, back in the girly outfit from before Mahogra took over."Finally, you’re out. I thought something bad might’ve happened to you...""Yo, Ally... and Milan. Sorry to keep you waiting," Arkanza said with a sweet

Arkanza walked leisurely through the school hallways, which were gradually filling with students. Despite his striking appearance, he maintained a calm expression, as if nothing could touch him. Deep down, he was formulating a plan to delve further into the mysteries of the body he now inhabited. His steps halted when someone called out to him in a sharp tone."Arkanza! Did you really come without bringing a single servant?"Arkanza turned his head. At the end of the hallway, Bagaskara stood with his hands on his hips, accompanied by a young man who appeared to be his personal servant. Bagaskara’s gaze was challenging, while several other students began gathering, curious about what would happen."Yes, so what?" Arkanza replied casually, folding his arms across his chest."It seems you haven’t changed. Even after disappearing for some time, you’re still the object of ridicule," Bagaskara mocked with a chuckle. A few students around them laughed softly.Arkanza stepped closer, his stri

The hospital room was filled with tension. Milan, Albert, and Barak stood near Arkanza’s bed, watching over his unconscious figure. Meanwhile, Vikram leaned against the wall, arms crossed over his chest, his sharp gaze moving from one person to another."We can't keep arguing about this," Vikram said firmly. "What matters now is finding a reason we can give to Mr. Adam and Mrs. Maria. If they find out that Arkanza is in the hospital, things will become even more complicated."Milan clenched his fists and lowered his head in silence. He knew exactly what Vikram meant. Adam Smith, Arkanza’s father, wasn’t the type to accept flimsy excuses. If he found out his son had suffered an allergic reaction outside his supervision, the consequences could be severe. Especially since, from the beginning, Adam had never truly considered Arkanza part of the family."Can we really keep this a secret from them?" Albert asked, tension still evident on his face."We have to," Vikram answered decisively. "

"I just wanted to make sure he ate something," Milan replied in a low voice. "I was the one who brought his food, but I didn’t know he was allergic to peanuts." Albert narrowed his eyes. "Weren’t you the one who insisted on delivering the food yourself? How could you not check what was in it?" Milan fell silent. Albert’s words felt like a whip, forcing him to confront his negligence. He wanted to deny it, to say he never intended to harm Arkanza, but the truth was, he had delivered the food without thinking it through. Feeling cornered, Milan suddenly shifted the blame to Barak. "But when I got there, Arkanza was already with Barak! You should be asking him too, not just me!" Albert turned his gaze to Barak, who was still standing by the window. Barak let out a small sigh before finally turning to face them. "I was looking for Arkanza too," Barak answered calmly. "He went to the cafeteria first, so I greeted him after I ordered my food." Albert crossed his arms. "And what

  • An Unexpecred Mistake

The hospital room was still filled with an unbearable silence. Milan sat in the waiting chair, his head bowed, fingers intertwined, while Barak stood near the window, staring outside with a vacant expression. They were waiting for news from the doctor about Arkanza’s condition after suffering an allergic reaction that had nearly cost him his life.Footsteps approached. Milan lifted his head and saw Albert arriving with a serious expression.“What exactly happened?” Albert asked bluntly, his sharp eyes locking onto Milan with an intense gaze. “I heard you were the one who gave Arkanza the food?”Milan tensed immediately. He knew that sooner or later, someone would question this, but he wasn’t ready to face the reality that he might have made a fatal mistake. He felt something lodged in his throat. His chest ached, and his head started spinning. Instinctively, his hand clutched his chest, his body leaning slightly forward. He tried to swallow, but it became increasingly difficult. He le

The sun was beginning to set as Arkanza stepped out of his last class of the day. He let out a slow breath, feeling a slight relief after spending hours sitting and listening to lectures. The campus was bustling with students moving in all directions—some hurrying home, others still lingering with friends. Arkanza chose to head to the cafeteria. His stomach felt empty, and he needed something to refuel before continuing his activities. He walked at a relaxed pace, hands tucked into his pockets, enjoying the gentle evening breeze. Upon reaching the cafeteria, he went straight to the queue and scanned the menu. It didn’t take him long to decide—he ordered a pastry and a cold drink. But when his tray was placed in front of him, he froze. The drink he had ordered contained an ingredient that could trigger Isabella's allergy. His hand stopped midair. ‘Idiot. Why am I hesitating over something like this?’ Arkanza took a deep breath, trying to push the thought away. He had alre

His eyes remained fixed on his reflection—a man who looked more exhausted than he should. His hair was slightly messy, faint dark circles visible under his eyes, and his expression... somehow, it felt foreign even to himself."Answer me," he urged again, though he knew well that no voice would answer except his own. • Moments After Arkanza Arrived at His Residence

RoomOn the table, there was a piece of paper filled with scribbles. It was a list of the foods he had consumed earlier with Valerie. He stared at the list with deep concentration, then picked up a pen and crossed out a few items.Steak.The first thing he crossed out was steak. After dinner earlier, there had been no unusual reaction from his body. Red meat wasn’t a problem for him. Then, he crossed out several ingredients used in sauces and basic seasonings.Butter, black pepper, rosemary, mustard. He had consumed all these ingredients many times before, and no allergic reactions had ever occurred. No symptoms of breathlessness, itching, or nausea. That meant all of these ingredients were safe for him.Arkanza set the pen down and leaned back in his chair. He stared blankly at the ceiling, his mind slowly drifting into the past—to an incident that had almost taken his life.He still remembered vividly how his body had reacted violently after just one bite. I’m curious, what’s the real reason behind this?”The man didn’t answer immediately. Instead, he opened his phone, reading something on it with a serious expression. Valerie watched him, feeling a bit odd about his behavior.“What are you looking at?” she asked.Arkanza closed his phone and placed it on the table. “A list of possible allergies you might have.”Valerie raised an eyebrow. “Allergies?”Arkanza nodded slowly. “I just want to make sure that whatever we order won’t make you sick.”Valerie smiled slightly, finding Arkanza’s answer a bit excessive. “So, is this the real reason you invited me to dinner?”Arkanza looked at her for a moment, then let out a short sigh. “Not really. Albert carried a tray of tea to Arkanza’s room, his steps as steady as ever. He knocked on the door before entering and placed the porcelain cup on the table, but his eyes immediately caught something unusual.Arkanza, who usually wore casual clothes at home, now looked impeccably dressed. His white shirt was perfectly ironed, a sleek black suit framed his figure, and his normally messy hair was neatLy styled. There was even a faint trace of cologne lingering in the air.Albert frowned. “Saturday night, and you're dressed this neatly?” he asked, suspicious. “Where are you going, Young Master?”Arkanza, adjusting his tie in front of the mirror, simply chuckled. He turned to Albert and winked. “I have a date,” he said casually. That word made Albert’s eyebrows furrow even more.
