The old swing creaked softly under Arkanza’s weight as he continued to gaze at the dark night sky. The warm orange hue of the sunset had faded, replaced by the cool shadows of the evening that filled the garden. Maria sat next to him, patiently waiting for her son to be ready to speak.

"Maria," Arkanza finally spoke, his tone calm but carrying an unusual weight. "There’s something I need to tell you. But I don’t know if you’ll want to hear it."

Maria turned to him, her heart racing at the seriousness in his voice. "What is it, Arkanza?"

He fell silent for a moment, gripping the swing's chain tightly. Then, like a floodgate opening, the words poured out.

"It’s true. Those kids are turning things around," Arkanza thought to himself with a smile he couldn’t suppress. Thankfully, Arkanza had agreed with what Maria said and managed to get an explanation from the woman.

"Actually, mother, something even crazier happened there. I’m afraid you might find it hard to believe," Arkanza said, trai

Arkanza could feel his heartbeat quickening, as if something was trying to escape from within him, but he held it back. A flashback came suddenly, invading Arkanza's mind, reminding him of an event he would never forget. Arkanza tried not to grimace in horror due to the surge of memories."Why are you silent? I'm talking to you!" Arkanza looked at Aru with a smiling gaze, sensing something was wrong with his friend's behavior. Aru, who had long been distant, seemed to have lost his words now.Aru let out a soft grunt, his eyes still focused on the hockey stick in his hands. "I... I don't know what you mean."Arkanza smirked cynically. "Oh, I think you know exactly what I mean, Aru. Aru and Arkanza arrived at the sports field with heavy steps, each carrying the equipment needed for their class—Aru with a hockey stick and Arkanza with a baton. The morning air felt fresh, but within Arkanza, the atmosphere was far from calm.“Hurry up, Arkanza. We need to move,” Aru said flatly, his eyes avoiding Arkanza’s. He didn’t say much, as if reluctant to acknowledge the friend standing beside him. Arkanza felt annoyed but didn’t want to start another argument. He simply followed Aru’s steps slowly, feeling like everything happening now was increasingly surreal. They walked toward the changing room, where a few other students were already getting ready. Milan said nothing. He simply watched Arkanza running, feeling a heavy weight in his chest. "Thank you, Vikram. But for now, I just need to make sure he's safe." Vikram could only nod, though he knew there was more hidden behind Milan's words. ... The flashback came unbidden as Milan continued watching Arkanza, recalling a past that was far darker and laden with responsibility. Everything had started months ago when Albert, the Lev Bodgan family's main bodyguard assigned to Arkanza, was relieved of duty. The incident that led to his departure was nothing trivial. During one of his tasks, Albert’s negligence caused a fatal mistake, leaving Arkanza hospitalized for some time. As a result, Albert was sent back to his family’s home, deeply shaken by the event. The responsibility he had carried for years had to be temporarily handed over to someone else. But someone unexpected stepped in to take Albert's place—a man unknown to Arkanza but carrying significant authority in the d

The physical education class had just ended, and the students were rushing toward their resting spots. However, Arkanza remained standing in the middle of the field, gasping for breath, his eyes staring blankly ahead. His body felt hot, sweat dripping profusely, yet there was no sense of accomplishment from the exercise he had just completed. Only deep exhaustion, as if every muscle in his body bore a heavy burden. “Why can’t I be like I used to?” he whispered softly, his voice barely audible amidst the fading noise as the other students ran away. He bowed his head, trying to endure the pain that continued to spread through his body. Since the start of the exercise, his movements had always felt sluggish. Each action was awkward, as if something was wrong. Arkanza used to be swift and agile, able to run endlessly, jump higher than expected. But now, every move felt like a struggle. "Why...? I’m still so young..." he repeated the words in a barely audible voice. "I’ve never felt

Valerin was taken aback by the question, furrowing her brow slightly. “What do you mean?” she asked, her voice still gentle and caring. Arkanza averted his gaze, his eyes briefly fixed on the ground before returning to meet Valerin’s. “Were we always this close before?” he asked in a lower tone, as if trying to express his doubt. There was a brief silence between them, and Valerin looked at him with empathetic eyes. “What do you mean? We’re classmates; isn’t it normal for me to notice you?” Valerin replied, her calm voice seemingly understanding his feelings. “But does it bother you? Sorry if it does,” she added, laughing awkwardly. Arkanza felt the warmth from Valerin’s presence, and for the first time, he felt a glimmer of hope. Yet, on the other hand, his confusion deepened. Why did Valerin care so much about him, while his memories of her remained unclear? Was this really just about kindness, or was there something more profound he hadn’t yet understood? He stared at Valer

Arkanza stood in front of his father’s office door, hesitating before knocking. He knew this meeting wouldn’t be just an ordinary conversation. Adam Smith never called him just to chat casually. He took a deep breath and exhaled slowly before finally knocking on the solid wooden door. "Come in." His father's baritone voice sounded firm, as always. Arkanza opened the door and stepped inside. The room was just as he remembered—walls lined with bookshelves filled with documents and business books, a large desk with a dim yellow desk lamp, and the distinct scent of wood and tobacco lingering in the air. Adam sat behind his desk, but this time, there were no documents in his hands. He simply stared at Arkanza with an unreadable expression. "Sit." Arkanza complied, taking a seat across from Adam, trying to keep his expression neutral. "It's been a long time since we've talked," Adam said, his voice softer than Arkanza expected. Arkanza raised an eyebrow. This was strange. Si

The hospital room was filled with tension. Milan, Albert, and Barak stood near Arkanza’s bed, watching over his unconscious figure. Meanwhile, Vikram leaned against the wall, arms crossed over his chest, his sharp gaze moving from one person to another."We can't keep arguing about this," Vikram said firmly. "What matters now is finding a reason we can give to Mr. Adam and Mrs. Maria. If they find out that Arkanza is in the hospital, things will become even more complicated."Milan clenched his fists and lowered his head in silence. He knew exactly what Vikram meant. Adam Smith, Arkanza’s father, wasn’t the type to accept flimsy excuses. If he found out his son had suffered an allergic reaction outside his supervision, the consequences could be severe. Especially since, from the beginning, Adam had never truly considered Arkanza part of the family."Can we really keep this a secret from them?" Albert asked, tension still evident on his face."We have to," Vikram answered decisively. "
