A new Ken?

Ken rubbed his drowsy eyes with the edge of his palms. It was a brand new day and he was still adjusting to his new life.

It's the first day of school, the Second semester.

It's been two days since his job as the assistant cashier ended at RAZBERRY company. He completed his contract at the company and earned his pay cheque.

After his appointment by Mr. Cater as the project manager of the nearly completed hospital, Ken was given the keys to his new apartment. It was a well-furnished bungalow, housing a spacious living room, a kitchen, and two bedrooms.

It's been a week since he relocated from his rat hole to the house. The other bedrooms were locked and Ken had no plans to open them. He was just making use of the living room and one of the bedrooms.

If Mr. Carter wouldn't dispute, he would have requested a single apartment because he felt that the one he was given was too big for him. It was a home made for a family not someone like him.
