Ken tried to call Cassie's phone number but again, it wasn't going through. He tried calling her line several times but it wasn't going through.

He dropped the phone to his lap and threw his head backward. He was growing lonely by the day.

He could tell that his job at Raspberry was influencing his life thereby affecting the people he cared about. There was Cassie who he was barely in touch with on one hand and there was Jane, the love of his life who he felt he was being unfair to her.

"Maybe you should give her a call." Ray hinted and cleared his throat loudly.

Ken sighed. He knew Ray was asking him to call Jane.

"Her voice might make you feel better."

"Well, I might just try," Ken replied and decided to give her a call.

He dialed Jane's number with eager eyes cast on the screen, hoping she would pick up the call but she didn't. He lowered the phone to his chest and flung a question at Ray.

"Do you think maybe she's mad at me? She's not picking up her calls."

Ray took a sharp turn.
