Grab a date

The graduating students were still hitting the dance floor and soon, the disc jockey swapped the disco music to a ballroom song.

Everyone was expected to grab his date and move his body according to the rhythm. Some of the students in the hall who were hanging by the corners rose to their feet and were soon dancing with their dates.

Ken held Jane by the right arm and led her to the center of the stage. He wrapped his arms around her slender waist and was soon lost in her eyes.

Jane was dressed in purple silk that had an opening on the bag. The dress was a long one. It stretched to the soles of her feet and looked tight in her but didn't after her motion in any way.

They danced for a few minutes before the disc jockey changed it to jazz music. Some of the exhausted couples left the stage to catch their breaths but there was no stopping for Ken and Jane. They were dancing their hearts out and were bent on making every moment count.
