"Thank you so much ma'am for your cooperation." Ken appreciated her and turned around to leave the office.The director watched him with astonishing eyes. "You seem to be in a bad mood today." Ray pointed out. It was a few minutes past 8 am and he was driving Ken to the hospital.Ken turned to him with a faint smile. "I'm a bit stressed that's all.""Well, health is wealth and I don't need to remind you about that fact boss. You need rest. Doctors are humans too." Ray commented and adjusted his tie.Ken broke into a laugh. Ken folded his arms across his chest and stared at the Lamborghini with his brows furrowing in anger. The dumb Vehicle had to break down in the middle of the road and without Ray in the seat, he couldn't help but feel hopeless.If he had known that the car was in a bad state, he would have opted for a cab and abandoned it in the hospital's garage but now, the vehicle had to disappoint him on the highway.He pulled out his phone and called Ray several times but the chauffeur wasn't picking up his calls and to crown to his frustration, no vehicle was coming his way. Ken was hopeless and helpless."Damn it!" He muttered under his breath and almost flung his phone.He began kicking his left tire aggressively, venting out his frustration.A few minutes later, a vehicle drove down the path. Until that car is fixed, I don't want it in my garage." Ken ruled it out. He was on the phone with Ray."Don't worry about a thing boss. I've got this." Sitting right next to her in the back seat of the range rover was a bodyguard, heavily armed.It was Sunday morning, a few minutes past 7 am, and Jane decided to hit the gym across the street. Ken tossed from one edge of his bed to the other. He was sweating profusely and swinging his head. He was lying on his back.Again, he was having a nightmare.He could see it clearly in his dream. He could see the way his mother led him to the basement eighteen years ago. He could see how she pressed teddy to his chest and left, promising to return but she never did."Mom!"
