Fool ones

Dead in the night, his phone rang nonstop with Harrison’s call. Steven trembled with fright. Sweat sprinkled down his forehead as he kept gazing at his phone screen. He couldn’t cut the call nor could he keep his lips sealed. Not after what Rica did. Running away would only prove he is more guilty. He took a deep breath and picked up the call.

“Count your days, Steven! Count your fucking days!” Harrison’s deep voice threatened the call.

“Harrison, listen….”

“Three….”

“Harrison, this was Rica’s doing. I didn’t do….”

“Two….”

“What are you doing? Harrison….”

“One!”

There was multiple gunshots, breaking glass windows and forcing open doors. Rica smartly forced him down and they snuck their way out of the room.

“What is this about?” She asked, as they snuck to the basement. It was their safe site for then.

“You are asking me? I wasn’t one who killed a child!”

“Stop whining like a damn child!”

She typed in the password and they walked in.

“Maybe we should change the password from 1234?”
