Not good

Vicky was wrong! Very wrong! He did notice. When she arrived at the guest house the next day, she was shocked to see the number of police vehicles parked before his home. Her heart leapt a bit, thinking something happened to Bonnie. She hurried into the house and felt relieved at Bonnie’s sight. Bonnie was happily playing in her stroller, playing some musical tones she danced to. At the sight of Vicky, she giggled and stretched her hand out for a hug. Vicky gave her a funny look and walked to pick her up.

“Stay away from her,” Steven’s deep voice stopped behind her. Her body went cold with fear. She wasn’t sure why she got nervous, but something about the tone of his voice sounded threatening. She turned to her back and saw Steven standing behind her with six police officers who looked pissed.

“Is she the one?” One of them asked.

Steven nodded.

“Yes, she is. You can go now.” He ordered them. They all nodded and left.
