"Right, their speed is incredible. If I fought any of them, I’d lose instantly. Facing three, it’s nearly impossible."

As the three moved, Ricard took his hands out of his pockets. In that instant, they closed in.

One aimed a knee at his lower back, but Ricard stepped forward, dodging by forty centimeters, making the knee miss. To the spectators, it looked like Ricard narrowly escaped by luck.

But Ricard knew that the knee, though seemingly dangerous, posed no threat. Missing by even a millimeter still meant a miss.

Ricard had just dodged the knee strike when a punch aimed for his face. Moving with lightning speed, he struck the elbow of the opponent's outstretched arm. Another attacker then tried to kick his calf, but Ricard didn't bother dodging. Instead, he let the kick land on his leg.

The kicker's expression changed drastically. It felt like kicking a solid iron block rather than a person. Although he was the one attacking, the pain shot up his leg.
