Cian curiosity led him far away from the house, unknown to him Fergus' dad's went into the house to take Fergus home before the invasion. After walking for a while, Cian decided to head back home, on reaching there he saw the commotion and didn't go close, he saw Drustan coming out of the house with unconscious Sean in his arms. Cian watched all these in shock, the spot he stood gave him a clearer view of his house but they couldn't see him and everyone was all panicking to notice his scents. 'Aunt Valerie has arrived' Raymond announced and soon a woman with long wavy hair appeared at Cian's room door. The first thing she did when she stepped into the room was to pull Cian into a hug, she hugged him like her life depends on it. 'I'm sorry' Cian cried, Valerie pulled out of the hug and tilted her head to see Cian's face, 'Why are you apologizing, you did nothing wrong, nothing was your fault' Valerie stated cupping Cian's face with her palm, using her thumb to wipe out his tears. 'Dress up and come down for breakfast, you need to eat something' Valerie said, pushing everyone out and closing the door behind her. They ate breakfast in silence, an irritable silence, 'I'm sorry' Cian said when Valerie dropped her fork, letting it fall on the plate making a clanging sound. 'Why?' The paper burnt and disappeared.'He will be here anytime from now regarding how urgent your information is' Sean said. A portal opened in front of the mansion and there was a knock on the entrance door, Asher was about to get the door and the door suddenly opened. He looked at everyone on the table and they all shrugged their shoulders showing that it wasn't them. His eyes met Cian whose attention was towards the door.

Dinner was lively and fun, filled with laughter, even from Sean. It was surprising for Valerie since it was the first she saw Sean make a facial expression in a long time. Valerie had decided to leave after making dinner but the boys persuaded her to stay for dinner with them, she couldn't resist Raymond's puppy eyes. She happy to see her son lower the walls he had built around him and let people in, by people meaning his childhood friends. They toured the house, the dinning table was litter with both old and broken plated. Cian went to his old room, it was how he remembered it but some properties were burnt, the white mattress was filled with dust and was burnt in some areas. In the huddle of the white mattress, he saw something that brought smile to his face, Ha-ha. Ha-ha was a plastic dinosaur, it's tail was burnt during the fire, adding black to it's green color, Asher came into the room. The room holds many memories of the days Asher spent with Cian when Cian was sick, visiting this room brought back many memories he had forgotten, this was the room in this house Asher was always happy to enter.
