When Mr Broda had excused himself to go check something, Liam was left all alone in the living room. Before midday, Susan was done with her morning shopping and returned home.But she felt it was really weird because firstly, the front door wasn't locked like someone was still home. Matt let out a shaky breath as he was torn between whether to pick up the call or not. What could be the reason for this call? While Matt was still on his way to the police station, Cara and Susan were finally able to reach Nick through a phone call. And on hearing of the tragic news, Nick quickly arrived at the police station within minutes. His eyes filled with tears at the news of his father's death. And just like his mother and sister, he too was interrogated. He answered every single question directed at him in the most truthful and honest ways, after all, he wanted to make sure whoever killed his father would be discovered and arrested. The policemen listened to all Nick said but unlike Susan, Nick said he had left three people home this morning, which were his parents and Matt. And the policemen wondered why the family weren't even suspicious of this Matt guy, wasn't it obvious to them? It was already noon time when the Broda family went back home to quietly mourn the loss of the father and husband. However, Matt refused to return to their home with them even when they insisted.
