Lunch With Alexander.

Liam was now fully dressed in long black pants with thin white stripes and a black jacket over a white long-sleeve shirt, he looked at his own reflection in the full-length mirror, a blank stare marred his now groomed face.

All Liam could see was a totally different person. His beard was now cleanly shaved, his hair trimmed and neatly combed to the back, his formal dressing was so new to him.

He was looking way too handsome that he was on the verge of questioning the heavens if this was truly him. Because as far as he could recall, his ugliness and unkept looks were one of the many reasons Cara rejected him right in his face.

He looked nothing like the Liam he knew two days ago. What he looked now was like a contrast from his former self and it made him wonder if he would ever get used to this new look and life.

Liam had no time to keep staring at himself as he needed to find Alexander, the old man was confusing him and Liam needed to be sure of what he signed up for.

Earlier when he had found himself inside that bathtub naked with maids bathing him, he had quickly dismissed them and bathed himself because he felt awkward with those maids helping him bath.

He stepped out of the bedroom he guessed was his, it was a bit empty but that would be a matter for another day.

With his shoes clicking softly on the tiled floor, he stepped out of the bedroom and walked towards the direction he felt was the right one.

The mansion was a huge one and the fact that he was new here made it difficult to find Alexander's office.

However, after a few minutes of walking around in search of the old man, Liam came across a servant and he stopped the servant to inquire about Alexander's whereabouts in the house and the servant answered with a proper description, thankfully.

Liam thanked him and walked towards where the servant had directed to him to go find Alexander. After another few minutes of walking around the house, he finally spotted the balcony the servant had said Alexander would be in.

The balcony was huge with flowers in every corner of it, it had a single sofa and a coffee table. The balcony overlooked the huge garden below.

Liam pushed the glass door and stepped onto the balcony and the soft smell of roses and tulips struck his nostrils causing him to take a couple of deep breaths, it smelt heavenly.

He looked before him and spotted not only the single sofa seat but also a different kind of chair, he noticed a head full of grey hair on the chair beside the single sofa, the chair looked like a... wheelchair?

Alexander uses a wheelchair?

This was new to Liam because he had failed to notice the wheelchair the other day in Alexander's office.

He snapped out of his surprised look and cleared his throat to grab Alexander's attention before greeting, "Good morning... Alexander." With a small bow of his head.

Alexander simply hummed in response and turned his wheelchair to face Liam and Liam noticed how Alexander didn't even move a muscle yet the wheelchair could turn, amazing.

Alexander observed Liam from head to toe amidst Liam's curious stare directed at him, he smiled and nodded, "You look like a different man, quite impressive I must say."

"Yeah, I want to speak to you about yesterday, what you did, why?" Liam asked and watched as Alexander's wheelchair moved towards him and stopped before him without Alexander having to move a muscle, again.

"What did I do yesterday? As much as I can recall, I did so much yesterday. Be specific and direct when you want to ask me about anything."

"You threw me down that dark room and had men beat me up," Liam explained and for the first time felt anger towards this old man but was suppressing it from showing.

"From what I saw, you were the one who beat my men up and injured them severely," Alexander said.

Liam looked down at the old man and was short of words to say, he sighed and then asked, "So what now? Are you going back on your words? Will you throw me out because it seems like you are no longer interested in whatever-"

"I never said anything like that, I don't remember saying so. Come push me let's go have lunch, half of the day is already gone and there's so much to be done." Alexander ordered and patiently waited for Liam to do as he'd said.

But Liam's forehead knitted with a frown as he looked at Alexander's wheelchair which seemed to be able to move on its own. So why was Alexander asking to be pushed?

However, he did as he was told anyway, he walked and stood behind Alexander and began pushing his wheelchair.

They both arrived at the dining table where a feast was being laid and arranged on the huge table, the sight had Liam's jaws dropped to the floor but he quickly scooped his expression.

This was too much food for three people.

Liam pushed Alexander to the head table as he was told to and sat beside him and a few minutes later, Nelson walked in and sat opposite Liam after greeting Alexander.

Nelson had a casual outfit on and he looked pretty normal, unlike the other day when he was almost kidnapped.

Nelson smiled at him but Liam simply stared straight at Nelson as he had no idea how to respond to his smile, it was a bit awkward.

They all began eating and everything was pretty normal but not for Liam who had no idea where to begin with so much food load on the table but he spotted a bowl of rice and served himself with veggies on the side, a simple food.

Though Alexander noticed, he said nothing and just allowed Liam to do whatever he wanted.

Lunch was over after almost an hour and Alexander announced, "Liam and I will be leaving for the company." Nelson nodded and left the dining while Liam sat still, his mind in a frenzy as he wondered what it would be like to step into a multi-billionaire company.
