It was the only man that was with them but not physically. Stan put both hands on his head as he watched from the monitor as men with baseball bats, metal rods, and sticks poured out of the buildings and blocked the road forward.

“What is it?” A calm feminine tone replied to him on the phone but it sounded more radio-like and his phone was to be blamed.

“I called you over an hour ago! I told you that the boss is in danger and that you need to be here as a backup! One hour ago and you are still not here! I thought you said you were in town?!”
