Chapter 100

Aiden had always wanted to come to this coffee shop. It was discrete, tucked at the end of the street and no one influential visited the shop. The layout of the shop exuded class and intentionality while the interior decor also made it a cozy spot, where a person could unwind. Aiden had requested for a corner booth, away from the prying sights of people.

They drank their coffee in silence both listening to the soothing classical music playing over the music speakers. Jeanne had ordered fries to go with her coffee. When she did, she shot Aiden a glare when he chuckled underneath his breath. "It doesn't hurt to indulge once in a while" she said.

"Of course, madam. Sometimes we mix business with pleasure" Aiden replied with a smirk and burst into laughter when her face went red.
