Approximately 30 minutes later, driving swiftly while following Hunter's directions, they reached the vicinity of the Paul Mackinson Institute of Research and Technology.

"Alright," remarked Pearl Dane as she exited the car, her face displaying a determined readiness.

Hunter joined her, walking towards the towering fence enclosing the Paul Mackinson Institute of Research and Technology.

Pearl Dane, after scanning around to make sure that no one was looking at them, extended her right hand to hold Hunter's right hand. 

"Is the hand holding really necessary?" Hunter asked with a surprised expression in his face. 

"Well, yes." Pearl Dane replied without looking at Hunter who gazed at her with an indescribable expression in his face. 

"I thought you can control light around objects from a distance and turn them invisible." Hunter stated, still surprised why Pearl Dane had to hold his hand. 

"Alright. See it as a date. Two attractive couple going into an institute to steal something." Pearl Dane said with her usual playfulness. 

"That's wrong. I am not going in there to steal anything. I only want to retrieve some important items that I kept hidden somewhere." 

"Really? Then why did you need me to turn you invisible if it wasn't stealing? If it is not stealing, you should be able to go in there without the need to turn invisible." Pearl Dane said, smiling at Hunter's facial expression. 

"No. That's wrong. They are different, Photonwarp. Gosh! You know, you are nothing but a headache. Definitely the last time I will be going out with you for anything." Hunter said seriously and shook his head. 

"Nope. We have many more dates coming up. This is just one of them." Pearl Dane said and prepared to use her power. 

While holding Hunter's hand, she controlled light around them and caused it to refract, turning them invisible immediately. 

"Nice." Hunter commended. 

He then said further, "Let's go."

The institute of research and technology, which has been closed for more than 3 days due to sudden, overwhelming enemy attacks, still bore the scars of destruction. 

The exterior, once a symbol of innovative progress, displayed visible damage — cracks marred the sleek facade, while shattered windows gaped like wounds inflicted by the chaos of warfare. 

Construction crews, clad in protective gear, worked diligently amidst the remnants of destruction, repairing structural damages and reinforcing the compromised integrity of the towering building.

Caution tape cordoned off sections deemed unsafe, creating a stark contrast to the ongoing repairs. Heavy machinery and scaffolding dotted the landscape, transforming the once orderly grounds into a construction zone. 

The air was thick with the sounds of reconstruction, a cacophony of hammering, drilling, and the occasional hum of generators striving to restore power.

Inside, the laboratories and offices, though closed, bore witness to the aftermath of upheaval. Broken equipment and scorched walls told a tale of interrupted research and innovation. 

Outside, the outer premises resembled a controlled chaos of reconstruction. Scaffolding embraced the building like a skeletal framework, reaching towards areas in need of repair. The courtyard, now a staging ground for construction materials, bore the traces of conflict—scorched patches and displaced vegetation. The glass facade, once transparent, was partially covered with protective sheets, signaling ongoing efforts to restore the institute to its former functionality.

Despite the visible wounds inflicted by enemy attacks, a spirit of resilience permeated the air. The institute, though temporarily closed and undergoing repairs, stood as a testament to the determination of its occupants to rebuild and revive the hub of research and technology.

The inner premises of the institute echoed with the sounds of construction—a symphony of hammering and machinery. Workers in hard hats moved with purpose, repairing shattered windows, reinforcing walls, and salvaging what could be recovered from the aftermath of enemy attacks. While the laboratories, once scenes of scientific pursuit, were now works in progress, with technicians carefully restoring equipment and researchers assessing the extent of damage to their experiments.

About 25 mins later, both Hunter and Pearl Dane arrived at the place that Hunter securely hid the items he created to protect himself from the perilous event that suddenly occurred within the school's premises.

Storing everything into the spatial storing device he called Dimensional Storer, he gestured at Pearl Dane that they could return.

Immediately they returned back to the automobile parked somewhere before the school's gate, Pearl Dane quickly drove away to return to their organization.

Hunter removed the three items that he stored in his Dimensional Storer and placed them on the table. He was ready to integrate everything into the Crimson Tyrant Blast Armor to weaponize it and give it the power to cause damages to an extent. 

Equipped with numerous tools, he immediately got to work where he screwed and coupled things and performed many other engineering operations on the different items scattered about on his worktable.

But first of all, he tried re-modifying the Ten-Fanged Lightning Dragon, which was the rotation-capable, ten-barreled monster-sized rifle. The magnetic repulsion chest armor which he planned to integrate into his crimson armor to give it the ability of magnetic projectile deflection, then the mechanical power arms which would provide the armor with the ability to lift and throw heavy things. He wanted to increase their level of power by a whole tier using some advanced materials that he obtained from a vast materials store.

When he was done, he activated the Black Helm to know the features of the Ten-Fanged Lightning Dragon rifle after it was done scanning and compiling characteristical data about it. Besides, he wanted to test the Black Helm to see if it would be able to provide up to 50% characteristical and functionality data about an enemy's weapon or armament.

"I guess the Black Helm could provide full information because of the x-ray that would scan the inner parts of weapons and transmit the data to the helm. If the x-ray can't see through the weapons, probably because of the materials used to build them, or they have integrated anti-scan radiation disruptors, then it wouldn't be able to provide complete informations on how their weapons work. Hmm. Well, should still work for other kinds of weapons and instruments that I may come across." 

Totally impressed by the astounding abilities of both the Black Helm and the Ten-Fanged Lightning Dragon, he prepared to use the Black Helm once again. He wanted to scan the Magnetic Repulsion Chest Armor that he had upgraded and modified six times at a spot.
