The huge wrecking fist of the hunter passed through his body as Jin relaxed his hands in his pockets. 

Just as he confirmed every part of him was free of the hunter's touch he deactivated his Phantom Persona. 

"Time to use your powers against you!!" 

Jin roared as he zeroed the distance between the shocked hunter within a second.

Theo put his hands up in defense expecting a hard punch from Jin's side. 

Jin, on the other flank, faked to his left, he introduced his left leg forward at first, as if striving to swing and land a devastating right hook to connect with Theo's Jaw. 

"Wrecker's Morph"

Jin growled as he spoofed one of the Diamond Hunter's skills.

Theo, whose eyes were wide in surprise as he heard the boy speak, and who thought his defense would work was dumbfounded as Jin planted his right leg a few meters away from the hunter's feet. 

With a sudden twist of his body, Jin performed a 360 before landing a rib breaking tornado kick to the hunter's torso with his pitch black leg which was now a wrecking ball instead of the normal feet.

Maybe the crack was too loud, that it echoed throughout the forest. Birds who were having a nice time, perched up on trees, flew with panic as the bone wrenching noise swallowed the atmosphere. 

Theo Tremor, the fifth strongest hunter in the country was exploded back to the mountain trail. His body was analogously sprawled on the ground to that of a ragdoll. 

He was without a doubt, knocked out cold by a newbie hunter.  

And...

This was enough for the Demon Lord inside Jin to know his worth. 

'This brat... He just totally mastered his newfound powers under this situation...'

The so called Demon Lord couldn't stop himself from thinking high of the boy he was trapped inside. 

'I can't believe this boy is just 17... The potential he has... It's simply frightening!... Should I just integrate with him?...'

The Demon Lord paused as he heard Jin speak.

"System. Copy his stats and add them up with mine... Do the process slowly and take your time. Add equal stats per 2 minutes"

"Instead of immediately boosting my stats... I'll have them slowly added and disseminated into my body. This way, I'll have better control over my body even though the process might be slow"

"But hey... It'll be a lot better than being a walking time bomb causing havoc because the powers couldn't be brought under control"

Jin laughed off as he walked towards the Diamond Tier Hunter to check if he was alive.

'This is why I am having a change of mind...'

The Demon Lord yet again thought to himself.

'This brat!! is a total monster!!. How is he able to adapt to things this quick??... I'm pretty sure it's his first time fighting for his life. Why isn't he panicking?... How is this boy way more matured than he should be for his age?...' 

'It's like... he's welcoming reality with his arms wide open, ready to hug and accept it as it is... As The Demon Lord, it disgraces me to accept this, but maybe... it's just that, I might've been wrong about him... Just maybe, this boy has what it takes to help me accomplish the purpose I yearn for.'

'Hehehe... This brat... that's it, I've made up my mind... This boy can become way more powerful than Ezariel Garcia...'

'But what troubles me is the power Ezariel was gifted with... I couldn't sense his aura from Jin's memories... but if I can at least get a glance of him, maybe then... I could clear my doubts'

Jin spoke as he turned away from the spy cam which scouted him from way up in the air. 

[Can't you destroy it.]

"I'm afraid that I can't... Not yet at least. It's because I still don't have my mana stat activated... and I don't know how to... Plus, the hunter here..."

Jin paused as he pointed his finger to the inanimate body of Theo Tremor.

"There's nothing in his skill set that has a ranged attack... and his strength stat... it's still being added to my body so I can't jump that far out into the air yet..." 

"But I do have five hundred thousand skill points thanks to you... But as I said... I can't be reckless with putting them into my stats... I could lose a limb or two in the process if I fail to control that much power"

[But why delay from returning to your school?... Won't your absence be noted down there?]

"That is why I'm waiting. Making it back to school is crucial as well. But returning to school with these tattered clothes would only raise suspicion..."

"I'll wait for at least one more hunter to return, and then I'll defeat him and unlock my Persona 1's perk... The Shadow Phantom"
