'I GET IT!!'

'I know what he's trying to do!!'

'This boy... he's a genius!!'

The Demon Lord thought as his senses caught hold of an ominous presence behind them.

Someone had perched upon the tree a few meters away from them, scanning their movements. 

It was without a doubt. 

A Hunter.

.....

"You do sense it don't you?. I don't know how but I can sense a presence behind me. This aura that's seeping from my eyes... I think its one of my powers"

Jin whispered as he continued his dance.

[The Phantom's eyes: The user is alerted of every presence inside a 20 meter radius. Can increase the radius as the user levels up. The radius can be temporarily increased at the cost of mana]

...

What Jin was trying to do was clear to the Demon Lord. 

Acting as if he was not aware of the hunter and deliberately giving an opening would only lure the hunter close to him. 

As Jin said, he couldn't use any ranged attack yet. This meant, he had to make the hunter close the distance between them and then catch him by surprise with his new strength copied from the Diamond Tier Hunter, who was still sprawled on the ground.

"So till the hunter gets here..."

Jin mumbled. 

"I'll dance"

[This brat... kekekek]

"Shake what ya' mama gave ya'"

Jin stopped his flossing and altered it to a quick and smooth shuffle. His legs moved under his will and he danced like a professional at work. 

....

"Hello, Aqua here. I have got my eyes on the target." 

The hunter perched on the tree mumbled to her earpiece. 

"Aqua, but the recent satellite reports I have here does not indicate the presence of a Demon Possessed Hunter at your location." 

The voice from the earpiece replied. 

"But I see a... a person here... and Theo is here as well, he's knocked out cold."

Aqua replied. 

"It is true that I see Theo's signature in the reports. Do you think they had a brawl?" 

The voice inquired. 

"Yes, I can!. I can see signs of a fight here. An abandoned Awakening Centre has been demolished and the surrounding seems to be affected by a close combat fight."

Aqua replied. Her voice wavered. She couldn't believe what she was looking at. 

What she couldn't believe was that Theo Tremor, the fifth strongest man in their country was sprawled on the ground like mashed potatoes. 

The other thing she couldn't believe was that the suspect before her eyes was... twerking. 

"Then listen to me carefully Aqua... Do you have the target In your sight?. Is it a man or a woman?"

The voice asked, breaking her thoughts within. 

"Hmm... I think it's neither. From my intuition, it's a boy around 17 or 18, but he's got a perfect build for his age" 

Aqua replied, scanning her eyes through Jin's body.

"What is he doing?... I don't think he's a Demon Possessed Hunter" 

The voice asked as it replied. 

"He's... He's dancing..." 

Aqua replied, her voice stuttering at her words.

"..." 

"..."

"IT'S A DEMON POSSESSED HUNTER ALRIGHT!!  Aqua! Move quickly while he's distracted in his victory dance... It's a demon possessed hunter, after all, you can't trust what one would do at a time like this... at least no one in his right mind would dance at a time like this!!"

The voice shouted at the earpiece. 

"Okay, Okay!!. Noted. I'll be attacking in 5 seconds... Please keep backup ready."

Aqua finished her reply just as the voice on the earpiece went static. 

....

[What is this amazing move with you bottom called brat?]

The Demon Lord asked in amusement as to what Jin was doing.

"Ah, This... It's called twerking..."

Jin replied with a chuckle.

"But I'm not 'just' twerking... hehe"

Jin smirked as his senses picked up a signal. 

[Woah... You sure you'll be able to catch the hunter off guard with this?]

The Demon Lord gasped as he understood what his host was plotting.

"Easy... It's gonna be easy!"

[Stats Copied and Applied]

Jin had been twerking for the last minute. But what he planned was for something very different from what eyes catch from the outside.

He wasn't just twerking... but charging his legs up, which now had equally monstrous jump power to that of the Diamond Tier Hunter.

[Phantom's Eyes Warning: A projectile is closing the distance to the user with haste. The distance left is 15 meters... Distance left is 10 meters]

"Let's go!"

Jin smirked as he freed his torso of stress and let his body fall backward with his knees still bent. 

[But boy! What if you miss it?. You'll be sent flying to somewhere without having the power to stop your momentum]

The Demon Lord warned. 

"You don't have to worry about that" 

Jin replied. 

"Even if people call me the class clown, I know my physics!!" 

Jin's chuckle assured the Demon.

Just as his toes left the ground and his weight shifted to his heels, Jin pushed his legs, blasting his body towards the surprised hunter with his back to the ground and his face forwards and parallel to that of the woman's. 

[Oh, Its a woman]

The Demon Lord said as he met the hunter's astounded face.

"Hehe Guess what Demon?. I won't miss..."

[Eh?]

"Coz she ain't as good as my mom!"

Jin chuckled as his hard skull wrapped in his school shirt zeroed the distance with that of the Hunter's, who had been rushing to him at the same velocity. 

"And even if she was..."

*Thwack*

"I got the movement notes from Dad Hehe!!"

[Persona 3: Combat Berserker Activated]

[Combat Berserker amplifies the user's melee damage and multiplies the attack power to the whole new velocity of 1000%]

Jin's cranium collided with the woman's nose, rendering her unconscious and sending her body tumbling down to the ground with blood splashing from her nasal opening. 

Jin's enormous velocity and momentum had hit an instant zero as he collided with the hunter. So he was able to freefall slowly to the ground and land on his feet. 

"Every action has an equal and opposite reaction hehe... But Ow... that hurt!!"

Jin caressed his head through the opening in his shirt.

"Just what I expected. Even though the baldy's durability was in excellent capacity, her speed was in the outstanding spectrum."

"Everyone knows, if hit with enough speed, even the toughest of defense would crumble... but thank God my head's still here"

Jin smirked as a window tab opened before his eyes. 

[Copying Everything]

.....

[How'd you guess that?]

"It was easy. All I had to do was put the pieces together and Voila"

[???]

"Hehe... I'll break it down for you. Think about that hunter for a second"

Jin replied as he pointed at Theo. 

[What about him?]

The Demon asked with the same Intrigue he had before.

"Theo Tremor. Even though he has insane strength and durability, the one thing he lacked was speed and agility." 

[Yes...]

"Yep. Look. A party of hunters, especially a party of professional hunters will have hunters with classes and stats which cover their comrade's weaknesses. Making them a balanced and impenetrable team" 

[Ohh]

"Yeah. The two of them before us is a perfect example. Theo lacks speed but is bestowed with an insane amount of strength and durability. At the same time, this female hunter has speed which would be a big help if Theo wasn't able to handle his opponent."

[Hmmm... Makes sense]

"In simple terms, Theo was their slugger and their main damage dealer whereas his party was filled with hunters leaning more to the speed stat. It was way too obvious from the beginning"

"The only flaw they had was the pattern in which they decided to sabotage me. But I can't blame them as well. It was their misfortune that I received the perfect skill for the counter attack... hehe"

The explanation which Jin provided the Demon entity was way too precise and sensible. 

It even made the Demon Lord doubt the words about him being a resurrected immortal.

"It's all thanks to you...Delo"

Jin chuckled. 

[Now who's Delo?]

"You duh!. Demon's De and Lord's Lo... Delo... I'll call you that from now on, hehe. There's no way I'm wasting my time finishing the entire sentence calling you 'The Demon Lord'..."

Jin laughed as he walked towards the fallen female hunter.

[You do know that as The Demon Lord, I have this thing called dignity and pride to be feared by humans yeah?]

"Well... We are in a symbiotic relationship now aren't we... It'll do you greater good if you 'Deal With It'..."

Jin said as he pocketed his left hand and looked down at the earpiece wrapped around Aqua's ear. 

Even though the voice was very tiny, Jin was able to notice it coming from the earpiece.

"Hmm... I might have a plan"

Jin mumbled.
