The Crackhead Trio

Present Time.

Year 3021.

City Bountress.

Bountress High.

In the 'Coliseum'

The Coliseum, which was built and developed in Cities all around the continent of Zarva was the abridged version of the Colosseums built way back in The Earth's Roman history.

The seatings were made out of stone and mica on which plump cushions consisting of enough mitigation to rest the spine and the neck were added.

Presently, the coliseum was bustling with students and teachers alike.

Seats were not a problem at all as the number of seats crossed the limit of 10,000.

All of them peered into the figures who stood on the arena floor below them.

.....

The event which was transpiring currently inside the coliseum was just what everyone had been waiting for.

An event that took place every year on the day of the annual festival.

The Annual Battle between the various divisions of the 12th grade!!

One class could select the best three students in the class to fight against the other class representatives.

The battle is executed as a group battle, where a team is made of three students.

"THE BATTLE WE ALL HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR!!!"

"THE BATTLE BETWEEN CLASS 12A AND CLASS 12D WILL BEGIN IN A MINUTE!!"

"LET THE PARTICIPANTS HEAR YOUR CHEERS!!!!"

The anchorperson who sat on his chair outside the battle arena yanked his microphone which was stationed on top of the table and roared into the metal announcer, making the crowd lively and excited yet again.

Currently, on the arena floor were 6 students and two groups who were sizing up each other.

The referee stood in the very middle of the battle arena which was barren and free of any dirt or gravel. The floor was made of concrete and cement but was polished with an extra layer of thin tile. The tiles were white and the lines which singled them out glinted the color black as it distinguished and characterized each of the tile pieces on the arena floor.

The arena floor was considerably enormous, it was more than enough for at least five hundred average human beings to fit in if they line up in five rows, with a count of hundred people per row accordingly, then they would be easily able to stand without touching each other and could abide within an arm's length.

The land outside the elevated and tiled arena floor was off limits for contestants who were supposed to begin their battle soon. It was one of the major rules of the Annual Battle that, if a contestant's body touches any part of the floor outside the arena, they would be immediately disqualified from the match.

"From Class 12A, We have Michael, Jacob, and Vizi"

The commentator yet again spoke into the microphone, but this time announced the names of the students who were about to lock horns.

"From Class 12D, We have Jin, Toby, and Jonathan"

"All six of them are exceptionally talented. Especially the trio from Class 12A. They are in the 'A' class for a reason..."

"But the trio that's facing them are not to be underestimated as well... or I think so..."

The referee raised his hands signaling the entire coliseum of his action. The commentator went motionless and mute as he traced the referee's hand to fall.

The presence inside had grown quiet to an extent that a pin dropping down the floor could have echoed through the entire coliseum.

Everyone, including the fighters, stared at the referee who held his hand towards the sky with an emotionless feature.

The events that procured after were all in slow motion. The commentator's mouth was wide open and his tongue was flapping while he yanked his mic as he saw the referee's hand fall.

"FIGHT!!!!"

*Boom*

The figures of the students from both classes sped towards each other as their shadows were left in the dust.

*Boom*

But Jin, whose hair was blonde, for some reason, slowed down and let his other two friends rush forward. Toby and Jonathan nodded to each other as they chose an enemy to attack.

Toby rushed towards Micheal and his friend Jonathan went in for Jacob. Vizi who was left without a foe ran towards Jin whose eyes were enveloped by his blonde hair's shadow.

Jin stood motionless on the arena floor but he stood straight and his legs were alert. The sun glared right above him.

Vizi bellowed as he rushed in with his fist towards Jin, but his roar fell short as he heard two bodies topple behind him with a 'Thud'.

Vizi, who was dumbfounded by the sound behind him, turned to watch his friends lying unconscious on the floor.

Toby and Jonathan had a grin plastered on their face as they looked at him with their shining eyes.

It was Jonathan who broke the atmosphere as his words sliced the tension.

"You never take your eyes away from your opponent..."

Jonathan paused, signaling an opening for Toby to speak.

"...Especially when it's Jin"

Toby's words came out as a warning as they struck Vizi.

He could only veer around in fear as enormous pressure overwhelmed his fighting spirit.

It was then that he knew, how factual those words were.

It was then that his eyes widened in terror.

It was then when the widened eyes met the green glowing eyes.

It was then when he met the horrifying eyes of the opponent that sent a chill down his spine.

Jin was just centimeters away from him, his hands crossed with each other, but his right leg pointed vertically upwards. It almost reached a complete 180 degrees.

Vizi could only gulp as the leg came wrecking down his skull, knocking him out cold and slamming his inanimate body down the concrete floor face first, breaking his incisors and jostling them on the tiles.

The Match was over and it happened within the count of the 120th second.

On that day, Class 12D had destroyed and handed Class 12A a beating they ought to remember.

The emcee found himself speechless but remembered soon enough that he had a job to do as he glanced at the referee who hovered his hand horizontally towards Jin's party.

"Class... CLASS 12D WINS!!!!"

His voice wavered at the beginning but it came out as pure joy and surprise at the very end.

The Crackhead Trio of Class 12D.

The school had only heard rumors about them, but it was today, on the day of the festival's eve, they demonstrate their mighty existence before the entire community of Bountress High.

Jin, Toby, and Jonathan. They were a force to be reckoned with.

"That there, to be honest is a helluva fantasy"

Jin chuckled as he peed into the urinal.

Toby's dreary words came after his supportive shout.

"Hey!! Shut Up!!"

Jin bellowed as he replied.

Jonathan chuckled.

"You guys really don't know but, I guess it's time to let you know the secret"

Jin announced as he began to make his step towards Joe and away from the urinal.

"Yeah, Yeah, It must be how strong you are aren't you? Shut it Jin, accept the fact that as you are of right now, You are weak"

Toby snorted as he closed the privy door behind him.

"That's rude, what the f..."

Jin Wrack took a step forward just as he found that he had hit his tolerance limit.

*Slip*

Jin slipped, his leg flew forward under his weight, and his vision escalated as it shifted. It shifted from Toby's appalled face, met the LED tube lights on the ceiling, and ultimately rolled back into darkness as a huge spurt of pain burst behind his head.
