After the conversation with the little centaur, I kept thinking about his words. "The Chosen One?" I laughed at the mention. How could someone like me be chosen?

I shook my head, dismissing all the thoughts that had entered my head. I may have gained magical abilities, but that does not mean that I am the chosen one. I am not that good at being a bridge between two worlds.

I returned to the room where I trained with Lord Centaur. I returned there to train, even though no one was with me. I wanted to master magic quickly so that I could leave this place.

I repeated everything that had been taught to me and also memorised some of the spells that had been taught.

"You are progressing quite quickly. It looks like we can start the next lesson." I turned my head as I heard a voice behind me. The centaur lord entered with another centaur.

The centaur lord snapped his fingers, and flames immediately appeared from his fingertips. "The next lesson is fire control." He blew out the fire on his f
