I was still holding on with fire in my hand. When I had the chance, I ran to the branches and brought them over. As soon as I was in front of Eren, I arranged them and put the fire on top of them. It didn't take long for the fire to get that big. The zombies that were already above us flew away. I learnt some of their weaknesses as I went up against them a few times. Level 9 zombies are afraid of light and heat. So they stayed away from us for a while.

After holding them off for a while, I turned to Eren and tried to treat him. This was the umpteenth time I had treated Eren from the influence of level 9 zombies. Slowly he recovered and began to wake up. He immediately turned his head towards the campfire I had built.
