After Olivia slept, I went out in the car. I wore a hat and sunglasses to cover my face. I am sure many people recognised my face.

The streets seemed a bit quiet. It was a bit strange because there were hardly any cars passing me. Even from the opposite direction, there were no cars at all. I ignored it and drove on into the middle of nowhere.

I had no real destination. I just wanted to look out and decide what to do next. I looked out and through the windscreen. The sky was dark because night was creeping in. But there was something strange, because I seemed to see smoke curling up in the sky.

"What's that?" I deliberately stopped the car to get a closer look at the smoke. "It looks like a fire." It wasn't just a cloud. It was thick and moving fast. From where I was, I could smell something burning.

"What's burning?" I drove my car back to where the smell was thicker. From quite a distance away, I could feel the air getting hotter. I looked through the window and saw flames burning i
