We had probably been walking for more than two hours, not knowing where we were going. There hadn't been any word from Newt about the creature's presence in this place.

"Sir. Aren't you tired?" I turned to the woman beside me. Her face looked flushed and exhausted. I had to admit that the air was hot and the sun was scorching. I didn't feel tired because I was a hunter who had more strength and endurance than ordinary humans.

Of course, I'm tired. But I had to act like a normal human so that the woman next to me wouldn't be suspicious of me.

"In that case, shouldn't we rest for a while?"
