I raised my other hand to strengthen my grip on the stick. Then I slowly tried to climb onto the rock.

I looked down at my lower body. My brow furrowed as I noticed something strange.

"Wasn't part of my body in the water earlier? Why isn't it wet?" I was pretty sure my feet had felt cold when I was in the water earlier, but when I came to the surface, there was no trace of it. My shirt and trousers were dry—not wet at all.
