I immediately ran towards the source of the noise. But I couldn't find anything, even though I'd surrounded the place. It seemed unlikely that Ian had travelled far.

I quickly returned to where my bike was. After picking up the dropped phone, I quickly got on the bike and rode off. I had found a mouse trail to get to this place.
