The majestic black horse came trotting through the huge city that was closest to their home. It had taken about three days to get there, they had stopped occasionally for the sake of Wen Wuhan, as he didn't have enough experience to stay up for months like his master. He was greatfull as always, and the horse soon stopped at the entrance of the city. A boarder like magic spell was casted all around the city which could repel foreign travelers if they didn't have the proper paper work."Seize your steps travelers!" The huge guard lifted an arm and was about to speak, but with a wave from Rén Ru the guard and the rest around him, dressed in protective armor, seemed to go in a daze as he stepped back into his post and opened up the barrier.Wen Wuhan was just glad that there wasn't a fight, at least his master has common sense, if he had fought then it would be minutes before reinforcements are called and unable to enter the city further because of them being wanted. The horse continued
"Disciple?" Rén Ru said amused, not once missing the expressions from his disciple at the corner of his eye. "Do you believe you could be able to survive being my disciple?""Yes!" She bowed low, all she wanted was to be able to control her enormous powers, to not hurt anyone that she cared for anymore. These powers of hers were always her downfall, even when someone was weaker than her she still couldn't beat them, they held more experience than she did. She needed a teacher, she needed a mentor to help, and from the way this beautiful man stepped forward to protect her, this was the man that was destined to help her get what she needed."I don't see why not.""Master!" Wen Wuhan spoke out of turn as he didn't care of the consequences, he just wanted to save at least one soul from the clutches of his master. "She is of no use to us, she'll be a burden and get in our way.""I won't!" Pan Yan shouted in resolution, determination in her eyes. "I promise I'll work twice as hard, I'll stu
During the first week Pan Yan had been with them she had explored the land the first disciple and master cultivator had been living at for the last two years. She had been keeping the chickens nice and feed, she fished at the nearby river and provided food, although not the best tasting but it was edible either way."Good morning master!" Pan Yan greeting early morning as her master glanced her way and headed into his testing lab. "Good morning Senior Brother Wen Wuhan!" She greeted at the arriving disciple who had finished his training. He took gave a her a glance without acknowledging her cheery attitude and entered the section of the land where the showers were at. "Like master like student..." She said helplessly as he continued to tidy up the small lodgings."Hey, let's see how you've improved that beastly strength of yours." Wen Wuhan sounded from behind her as she was finishing up cleaning the stables, before she knew it she was flying with the help of a painful punch and lande
Daybreak came and the two disciples came out of their respected rooms, one left to do chores while the other went to cultivate. They were both outside, Wen Wuhan sat crossed legged with his eyes closed, circulating his Qi as his master had taught him when he had first found Wen Wuhan. His first duty is waking up super early and doing his physical training and soon after his Qi training. Rén Ru had always stressed the importance of have a strong body and not just Qi. And seeing as he had nothing else to do Wen Wuhan has followed everything his master has ever ordered him to do to a T. On the other hand, Pan Yan was currently filling a bucket at the well next to the cabin. She also held duties around her own training, but for now since she didn't much like dirty things, after her Qi training she would clean around the camo and .ade sure everything was cleaned and in top top shape. For her own training since she held a lot of physical strength she needn't worry about it like Wen Wuhan di
Rén Hui, he was a skinny child that was plucked from the street to be a test subject for Rén Ru, his fate was to die of a horrible poison and help Rén Ru's research advance significantly faster, but instead his trash state was cured and he could cultivate like any other. He grew in the care of Rén Ru, growing up into a handsome young man and very much intentionally creating a bond to the master cultivator."Hurry Hui'er, must I always do everything for you?" Rén Ru said with an irritated sigh looked at the young man before him.Hui shook his head hurried as he began to mix and grind down some dry plants his master need from him. As he was in a rush he had placed to much strength and cracked the pestle as well as breaking the mortar in half."You brute! Why are you placing all of your strength, I need some of the lieve still intact not powder." Rén Ru came up from behind and smacked the back on his disciples head. "Step aside I'll do it, go tend to the medicinal plants."Although he wa
The temperature was high, scorching if one wasn't careful the skin would blister any dry paper would combust after a few minutes if not wrapped and hidden properly from the sun. The temperature was 172.5F, one of the lowest temperatures in Vallis Mortis, a desert known to have killed millions and other that weren't recorded, it's sands hold many skeletons within. But for two figures covered in head to tow with robes, it looked like they were taking a leisure walk through a garden. The taller figure held a beautiful white umbrella with blue crystals decorating the ends, it was wide and large, able to shade both of them. The blue crystals gave off a cooling affect, even if it was blazing hot it was comfortable within the umbrella. They walked steady, without hurry to their current destination, behind them a horse which kept his eyes to the front, not at all phased by the sun even though it's coat was entire black. In fact it even looked a bit energetic as its head would sometimes look ba
Rén Ru had traveled all the continent and had finally settled down to live at one spot, a permanent home where Rén Ru didn't have to move too much, the decades that had passed them by were long and painful, his condition worsened by the year and Hui had pleaded his master to stop his journey."Master we must stop, you are too I'll to keep going." Hui held a worried look, his brows furrowed as his fists clenched, unable to force his thoughts onto Ru."I know, just a little while longer." Ru nodded as his figure was no longer the luster body it once was, he looked to have lost some weight.Days would go by when they would settled for a week in one spot, to recuperate Ru's energy, as he did so he noticed Hui always sat on the table, writing letters. "To who do you write letters for Hui'er? A lovely maiden perhaps?" Ru smiled."You are my maiden." Hui did not hide his affection."Stop without foolery, you don't need to follow my all the time, go find a young girl to marry." Ru motioned."
Opening his eyes he saw the world he had left turn into a beautiful blue, he hummed in satisfaction as he collected his thoughts and decided to take a small brake. He was thinking over that soul he had left but was also now floating beside him, it was like a speck, but the vibrant orange glow was undeniable. He reached out a palm and the small soul hovered over it, he pulled it forward as he spoke with a small smile; "Clingy aren't you?" The soul in his palm trembled, whether it be in delight, fear, or anger the beautiful man didn't know.Time had passed as he simply gazed at the little soul. "Has the world changed when I left it?" He spoke up towards the system, he did not care what had happened to everyone, he just wanted to make sure he had left that world unrecognizable to the original plot, that was his main goal now, to at least catch The Creators attention even for a small glance.[Yes Master, the world has been left without recognition from the original plot.] The system said
