DEAD EYES

Almost two hours later and then the taxi stopped. The rain had gotten so heavy that we had to slow our drive home and it was still pouring hard when I got to my building. With no umbrella I got out and rushed into the building but regardless of my haste I still got drenched.

I went up uninterrupted, no Mrs Florence in sight, because of the rain she was most likely in her room keeping herself warm I thought.

I made it up, had a hot shower, ate dinner and went to bed really early, 7pm to be exact.

Being already drenched in rain water and I could barely handle the cold so before I had the hot shower I was feeling almost hyperthermic with my teeth fidgeting and my jaws tightened up.

All through the night I couldn't shake off a foreboding feeling which enveloped my entire body until I slept off. I hate when I get feelings like that ever since the incident and it had been reoccurring on some occasions since then
