While Malkome and Mirajh were both on the second floor and making their way up, Adam contemplated on what course of action he was going to take. He was smart enough to know what his limitations as one with enhanced abilities were, evaluating them against what he perceived his soon to be opponents would be capable to doing and deep down he doubted if he could be able to go toe to toe with the big fellow amongst the two approaching and end up coming out victorious, let alone the two of them together.

Mirajh was also a figure of concern here because in terms of size she was the smallest amongst the three and unlike her towering partner, there was no ounce of bloodlust observable from her. She had absolute control over how she reacted to her environment and unlike her partner whose intentions were obvious, they both seemed to be two ends of the same spectrum, complementing one another in that aspect.
