A man not so tall neither short stood in front of a big framed painting and behind a big golden throne.

He had a well decorated crown on his head. And he was ceremoniously dressed. He stood before the framed painting.

His eyes scanning every inch of it. It was a painting of Man sitting on a throne with a woman standing behind him, and two children in front at his feet.

On the faces of both adults, was a smile and on the children's faces was fondness.

As he looked at this picture and felt ever so drawn to it. So much so that he stretched his hands just to touch its frame.

He closed his eyes that seemed so aged and his thoughts could not help but remember a time when the smiles in this picture was his reality.

A time when playing the role of a father and a king did not have to collide but rather moved as one.

When the crown on his head did not give him such a strained option, and his life was enviable at all.
