CHAPTER 298-ONE MONTH LATER

"Joseph, it's Mark Vans." There was a sarcastic voice on the other end of the line.

"What's wrong?" Joseph asked.

"Do you remember that time in the restaurant that I was going to buy half of your californium?" Mark said. "But you refused."

"So I've held your family hostage for one night," Mark continued. "I'll let you hear them."

There was a familiar voice on the other end of the line.

"What are you doing?"

"Why did you bring me to this place!"

When Joseph heard the voices, he knew that it was his father-in-law and Lucky.

"You're familiar with these voices, right? They're your closest family!" Mark sneered.

"What did you catch them for?" Joseph asked. He looked calm, he asked curiously.

"For what? Joseph, you don't know good from bad, you didn't salute me, you refused my invitation to cooperate!"

"Come on, hit them!" said Mark giving orders to his men.

"Let Joseph hear the sound of his family screaming!"

Thump!

On the other end of the line, there was the sound of whips landing
