CHAPTER 8-HE PLANS TO HIDE HIS REAL IDENTITY

Joseph who heard that was immediately petrified. His heart didn't want to admit this truth. It had been a long time since he had seen his father, but his father had already passed away. He should have met his father first.

"It's okay, Uncle. When it comes to death, no one knows," Joseph comforted Mr. Gawali. It was obvious that the man had lost his boss. So, now that he saw Joseph, he felt that Mr. Guezz had returned in a younger version. The man was determined not to leave Joseph. Together with Joseph, he would manage all the assets of the Guezz family.

"Young Master, please. I will take you to the bank. I will take care of transferring all the ownership of Mr. Guezz's assets to you. You are now entitled to take over."

Joseph who heard that immediately nodded. He started to get up from his seat and walked after Mr. Gawali from the side. Mr. Gawali looked at Joseph every now and then, which made his employer's son wonder.

"Uncle, what's wrong, why do you keep looking at me? I look strange?"

Joseph, who was already in the car, was a little overthinking when he saw the look Mr. Gawali was giving him.

"No, Young Master. I'm just a little curious. Why did you signal me to look unfamiliar to you at the Smith family home? Did I do something wrong that you would be ashamed to recognize me in front of your own family?"

Joseph, who heard that, immediately let out his breath in resignation. Thinking about it, his heart felt very tight.

"It's not like that, Uncle. All the members of the Smith family have always insulted me. They think I'm useless and a burden to my wife. Actually, what they say is true. I can hardly find a job. I haven't even given her a wedding present yet. It was only yesterday that I was able to give her a gift, even after my card was accessed, Joseph explained.

Mr. Gawali, who heard this, was annoyed. How could Joseph, who had always lived in wealth, now be insulted by his wife's family? They had all gone too far.

"So, what's your wife's response, Young Master?" asked Mr. Gawali curiously.

"She has always defended me. Even for that she always fought her family members. I'm glad she can still accept me for who I am. I promise, I won't leave her."

Mr. Gawali smiled at that. He could see Katty's sincerity towards Joseph. He could see the happy look on Joseph's face as he talked about his wife. Although Joseph was now sitting in the back, but at least the man could see his boss's son's expression from the mirror above his head.

"That's good then. Now follow me into the bank. We'll take care of all matters concerning Mr. Guezz's ownership rights. You should take over immediately so that you can take revenge on your wife's family," Mr. Gawali said.

Joseph smiled at that. He was glad that Mr. Gawali was on the same page as him. However, this was not the right time. So, Joseph let the Smith family have their fun first. He would not tell his identity directly.

"Uncle, I ask that you keep it a secret from my wife's family first. Let them insult me all they want. When the time is right, I will repay them all."

"Yes, Young Master. Go ahead."

Joseph nodded and began to enter the bank that Mr. Gawali had designated. Now the man was taken to a special place. There he took care of everything regarding his family's assets. There was a lot to take care of because the Guezz family had a lot of assets. However, Joseph and Mr. Gawali faithfully followed the procedure to the end.

"Wow, I just found out that my daddy is this rich. A property company with hundreds of branches around the world, as well as three major hospitals in this city. Why did I only find out now? If it was a long time ago, I would have silenced those people with all the assets I have now. But good thing too, I'll get back at them slowly," Joseph said.

Joseph shook his head as he exited the bank he had entered earlier. The man was shocked when he found out about the amount of assets he had now. No wonder he used to live in luxury, it turned out that the Guezz family was very rich.

"Congratulations, Young Master. Finally I no longer need to look after all these assets by myself. I'm sure you'll be able to manage them well in the future. I trust you," said Mr. Gawali.

Joseph put his hand on Mr. Gawali's shoulder several times. He was glad that his father had a trusted assistant. If Mr. Gawali had betrayed him, perhaps all these assets would not be his today.

"Uncle, I ask you once again. Don't get too familiar with me. Don't tell those people about who I really am. Can you do that?"

With a firm nod, Mr. Gawali said yes. Now the man began to open the door and invited Joseph to enter the car which was now also Joseph's. After making sure that Joseph was seated properly, the man got the car underway and headed back to the Smith family home.

After being escorted by Mr. Gawali, Joseph immediately entered the area of his wife's family home. From the tail of his eyes, Joseph could tell that the four people who had always insulted him were now hiding to watch Mr. Gawali's arrival with him. When Joseph was almost in front of the big door of the house, the four men immediately went into the living room. They pretended not to care about Joseph's arrival, even though they were very curious about what was happening.

In addition, Katty who had noticed the arrival of the black car immediately left her room and went down the stairs. She immediately walked to the living room to meet the rest of her family, while calling her husband to speak there first.

"Are you home, Honey?" asked Katty with a stiff smile. She was still curious about Mr. Gawali and her husband.

"Yes. What's going on?" asked Joseph pretending not to know, even though he knew very well that the Smith family would start interrogating him. They were currently jealous that Joseph had been more successful in approaching Mr. Gawali.

"Hey, Joseph. What did you do to get Mr. Gawali to listen to your request? Do you know him? Uh, no way. A poor man like you can't possibly know someone as famous as Mr. Gawali. Hahahaha," said Lucky who was still upset because he felt disrespected by Mr. Gawali, but instead Joseph was the one who was invited to leave.

"Joseph, answer! What relation do you have with Mr. Gawali?" asked Jenny staring at Joseph.

"I have nothing to do with Mr. Gawali. He just talked to me for a while and then came back here," Joseph lied.

"You're lying! How could he give you permission to turn daddy's room into a VVIP room like that. What evil ways did you use to get Mr. Gawali to help you?" asked Lucky.

Joseph, who had just arrived at his house, let out a resigned breath. He had just arrived, but had already been greeted with this excitement.

"I was offered to work in his company," Joseph replied.
