100 : To Stop A Nightmare

Axielo walked the deserted corridors of his house. It was dark and silent, the moonlight being the only illumination.

It was an unfamiliar sight in his palace, for it had never looked so deserted and dead as this.

"Mother...?"

She walked with slow steps, as if afraid of stepping on the shards of glass on the floor.

She almost made a wrong turn, but finally found her mother's unlocked room.

Axielo's small feet entered without making a sound, afraid that he would disturb his mother's sleep.

"Mom?"

But apparently, his mother wasn't asleep.

She was standing on the balcony with the door wide open. Her pajamas were waving in the night breeze, and she seemed to glow standing in the silvery full moonlight.

"Mom, why is our house so dark? Was there a power outage?"

Elina Stancy did not move or turn her head, leaving Axielo a little confused.

"Mom?"

Xiel called back, and when Elina turned around-she was surprised to see the woman crying.
