120 : The Betrayal

Violet came to the table where Antonio was waiting for her.

It was surprising to see Verlaine there too.

"Hello, Violet. It's been a while. Nice to see you here," Verlaine said, crossing his legs casually and waiting awkwardly for Violet to sit down.

A sumptuous Japanese meal was served to them. The room was closed enough for serious conversation. Violet felt a little uncomfortable.

"How are you, Violet?" asked Antonio, making Violet look at him and forget about Verlaine.

"I'm fine." Violet looked uncomfortable, keeping her head down until Antonio made her lift her head by saying,

"And how is your twin brother?"

It was surprising to hear Antonio ask how Vonn and Vincent were doing after treating them like outsiders before.

"They're fine. ...."

"I'm glad to hear that."

Violet watched Antonio's face, the man looked like he was holding back a feeling of regret.

"I don't know where to start, but I just wanted to express my regret to you, and of course to Vonn and Vincent," Anton
