Chapter 14

Hansen's brow furrowed. However, his face still looked utterly innocent. "Everything you said was just nonsense, Dakota. You're just wasting my precious time. Before you report me, I will first report you to the authorities for defamation of your own professor."

Hansen grinned. He took out his cell phone and dialed the police station. "I want to report my student who defamed his own lecturer. The location is in a park area near the Conburgh campus."

The police officer on the other side responded to Hansen's report. "Yes, sir. We will be there shortly to follow up on your report."

Hansen hung up the phone while grinning at Dakota. "Look, you're the one getting arrested by the police, Dakota. You can't do anything to me."

Hansen wasn't messing around with that. He could use this situation to his advantage. By reporting Dakota to the police, of course, the campus will not believe Dakota, even with the evidence Dakota has.
