"Ah, so you are a chef." Dakota smiled stiffly. He felt guilty because of her previous thoughts. He shouldn't judge someone based on their appearance alone. Even though he used to be judged by many people just by his appearance, he felt no different from those people.

The man who had almost finished his food glanced at Dakota, then raised the food with a small gesture. "Thank you for the food, and sorry for startling you earlier." The man said it sincerely, and Dakota cursed himself for having misjudged the man and carelessly pitied him.

But the man didn't seem to accept. "I have to pay for what you gave me." He insisted.
