After saving the woman, Sebastian took a closer look at her face and quickly realized that she was not Sara, but a woman who had been his co-worker. She was known for her beauty and always exuded a charming aura, but their circumstances had never been close. He remembered how, during their time working together, he had often kept his distance because he was married and wanted to avoid unnecessary gossip or rumors, especially because his wife was known to be abusive.

“Thank you for coming on time!” the woman said, her voice calm and nervous. She was still sobbing a little, and Sebastian could see the fear in her eyes. “I’m not sure what would have happened if you hadn’t shown up.”

Sebastian tried to reassure her. “You’re safe now. But how did you get into this situation?” he asked, trying to catch his breath.

The woman shook her head, her face pale. “I was invited to meet some of the employees here, so I came to the office and… he just came up to me. I didn’t know what to do,” she said, helplessness in her voice.

Sebastian felt doubt and anger well up in his chest. “You shouldn’t have to face this alone. I wanted to make sure you were okay,” she said, trying to reassure him, even though they weren’t close before.

“My name is Lila,” she said, trying to introduce herself with a weak smile. “I used to work in the marketing department with you. Even though we weren’t close, I’ve heard a lot about you.”

Sebastian nodded, feeling a strange, if loose, connection. “Lila, this isn’t an easy situation. Are you going to make it home safely?” he asked, realizing that he would have to take further action to protect this woman.

“Yeah, I have a car outside. It might be best if I leave soon,” she replied, a hint of relief beginning to cross her face.

“Okay, let’s get out of here together. And don’t hesitate to call the authorities if anything happens again,” Sebastian suggested, trying to protect Lila from getting into any more dangerous situations in the future.

As they stepped outside, Lila clutched her bag, trying to shake off the lingering fear that still loomed over her. Sebastian could feel the uncertainty in the air, but as they walked together, they both realized that despite not being close before, this moment had created an unexpected bond.

Watching Lila speed off toward her car, Sebastian felt a little at ease. He knew he couldn’t control everything, but he felt relieved that he had helped someone in need. Even though they didn’t know each other very well, the chance to save someone had changed the meaning of this visit.

Sebastian turned, determined to refocus his mind on finding Sara and continuing to fix whatever had been broken. Now, things were wide open, and he knew he had to be prepared for even greater challenges.

Sebastian had just stepped out and thought they had gotten away with it. But as they walked further in, the fat man he had confronted earlier—who turned out to be the manager of Blue Net—reappeared with an angry expression that added to the tension.

“Can you explain what happened here?” he asked sternly, looking straight at Sebastian. “Breaking in and threatening our employees with something like that could be very serious.”

Sebastian felt his defensiveness creeping back in, but he tried to play it cool. “I was just trying to protect this woman. She shouldn’t be treated badly,” he replied, resisting the temptation to argue further.

The manager glanced at Lila, who looked scared and worried. “This woman has a good reputation here, and we won’t let anyone tarnish her reputation. If you keep pushing her, I won’t hesitate to report this matter to the authorities.”

Hearing the threat, Lila looked increasingly hesitant. She stood beside Sebastian, but it was clear that the manager’s intimidation made her uncomfortable. “I… I don’t want any trouble,” she said, her voice shaking. “I don’t want to get involved any further.”

Sebastian felt conflicted. He knew that the power that Blue Net held could be very dangerous, especially for Lila, who seemed shy and kind. He didn’t want to hurt his career or add to the burden of the woman he had just saved.

“Lila, you don’t have to worry. I won’t bother you any further,” Sebastian tried to reassure her. But deep down, he was angry and disappointed at the situation. The power of influence could hurt innocent people.

“I know about your tragic experience, Sebastian,” Lila said softly, her eyes looking at him with sympathy. “You really didn’t deserve to be in this situation. But… I think we should all step back and not continue this.”

Sebastian was touched by Lila’s words. He didn’t want to create more trouble, especially for people he believed were good. “Okay, let’s not talk about this any further,” she said, trying to close the conversation and walk away from the awkward situation.

Before she left, Lila gave Sebastian a loving look. “Be careful, and take care of yourself. I hope everything is okay. I’ve heard a lot about you from my colleagues, and I sympathize with what you’re going through,” she said, making him feel connected even though the situation wasn’t ideal.

Sebastian nodded, feeling a mixture of relief as they parted. He had to let go of the moment to connect the parts of his life he’d left behind, but he knew that finding Sara was more urgent now.

As they said their goodbyes, Sebastian turned back toward the office, determined. He understood that the business world had many sides to it and that every step he took had to be calculated. Maybe it was time to pursue his goals and meet Sara without getting caught up in unnecessary conflict, but with the passion to restore his life in a better way.
