On The job Training

It's already been two weeks since it happened. Luckily her monthly period came one week after she returns home. She can't tell or ask her mom about the abnormalities that is happening in her body. Afraid of losing them and afraid that she might scared them, she decided to keep it as a secret. But sadly, the image of that man keeps appearing in her dreams every night.

"Elijah, aren't you finished packing your clothes? You're gonna be late ." Her mom's came in to her room.

"I'm done!" She smile at her and follow her out.

Today is the day that she will going to Manila for her job training. Her mom, Mrs. Susanne Suarez already find an apartment for her to stay during her stay in there.

"Don't ever wonder around especially at night! Do you understand?" Her father's caring voice get her attention.

She winked at him and smile. Mr. Felix Suarez, her father who always tells her to be safe and don't forget to call if anything happens. How lucky she is to have these loving parents.

"Yup! I understand!" She even salute him to show her respect.

Her father an AWOL military. He chose to stopped working to take good care with her mom, because her mother got an accident when she was little. Well, that's what they told her.

"En. Very good! And forget the mountain climbing while you're on the job training." He reminds her again.

Well, Elijah doesn't want to go for mountain climbing so far. It's not because of her training but more on because of what happened. She's afraid that she might meet that man with tail again, even though he's handsome, he's still not human!

"Got it! I'm leaving now. Please take good care you two. Don't forget to eat meals three times a day. And please! Try to make a baby brother for me!" She even stomped her feet to show them that she really wanted to have a siblings.

"Enough with your request, you knew that we can't grant it so just leave." Her mom's jokingly pushed her out of the house.

"What if?" She keeps insisting.

"Tch! We will try three times a day too, so go now. We will start making it after you left." Her father.

Elijah couldn't help but laugh at loud. She saw her mother blushing while punching her father.

"That's good, Dad! I'll cheer on you once you succeeded." She have to shout because she's already at the gate.

"Oh please just leave!"

Her and her father both laugh together until she finally out of the gate. She have to take a bus to travel to Manila from Batangas. As far as she remember, her family actually from Manila. But they moved out from there and they bought a small land in Batangas and there they are now.

"Bus terminal, Uncle." She asked the tricycle driver who stopped when he saw her.

You have to travel with tricycle if it's just short distance. She doesn't allowed her father to sent her using his own tricycle to bus station because of her mom. She doesn't want her to be left alone even just a few minutes.

"Are you going to Manila?" The man asked.

Uncle is a common call for the middle aged man who you actually don't know the name. Grandma for old woman, and grandpa for old man its a common courtesy in the country.

"Yes, uncle."

"For a job?" The man seems to be friendly.

"Yes, uncle. I'm going to do the job training." She excitedly answered.

"Oh! Good luck for you. Your parents must be proud of you."

"Hehe.. I will make them proud of me, uncle."

The driver just nod his head as his answer, and after a ten minutes rides they finally arrived at the bus station.

"Good thing that you aren't late for the second trip." The man said while receiving her fare.

"Yeah.. Thank you uncle!" She waved her hand to say goodbye.

The driver just smiled and leave to find his passenger again.

When Elijah find her seat, she takes it and wait for the bus to move. She just waited for only 20 minutes and they finally start moving. Traveling for 4 hours is boring so she decided to take a nap. And when she open her eyes, she's already in Manila bus station. She called her Mom while getting not of the bus.

"I'm in Manila now."

"That's great, take good care okay? Do you remember the address I told you?"

"Yeah, Pasig. Right?"

Pasig City, one of the city near Manila. And also near to Frost Airlines that she's going to do her Job training. She's not going to work inside the plane, only in the main building that receives flight reservation. And actually, she's going to be a temporary personal assistant of the Director of the said company.

"Don't forget what we told you about doing your job. Always...

" always keep your patience long, and listen to what others advice and don't give attention to those who wanted to take me down." She recited it.

"Very good."

"I have to end the call now.. Call you again later. Love you both!"

"We love you too. Bye!"

She find a taxi who will send her to her apartment. When she arrived, the landlady greeted her and welcomed her. The apartment is clean and it's good for her. It's studio type with own shower room separated in comfort room.

"I like it. " she said.

"It's great that you like it." The landlady answered. "I thought you're not gonna come."

"How can't I? I need a place to stay." She smiled at her.

"Yeah!" The landlady seems to be friendly too. "Oh! Right! You should rest now. You have to be early tomorrow right? Your mom told me, Elijah."

Elijah nodded while smiling. Her mom's really is the best. She knew what she really wanted. When she finally left alone, she put her things on the cabinet and take out her clothes that she's going to wear after taking a bath. But before taking a bath, she ordered her food.

Manila international Airport,

"What time will my temporary assistant arrived tomorrow? I don't wanna be late with my meeting schedule." Dwine Frost just arrived in Manila from Palawan.

After the searching event last week that actually failed, he decided to return to Manila to do his postponed works.

"I've hear that, she will be in your office before you arrived tomorrow, Sir." Joanne, His Secretary answered.

"That's great if that's actually happened.."
