Elijah blinked twice before realizing the situation. The dog can recognize the smell even you tried to mix it. And even he is far away, he can still smell the vanilla flavored candy that she's eating. But why does he have to lean closer just to ask her? What's in there in vanilla scent?

"You mean, this candy?" She raised her hand that is holding the wrapper.

Mr. Frost stare at her before looking at the wrapper in her hand. His eyes squinted a bit and withdrew himself from her. She finally let out a sigh of relief. He seems to hate vanilla? But why?

"Am I not allowed to eat candies with vanilla flavor?" She can't helped but asked.

The man look at her again and fix his necktie before answering her.

"You can." He said. "Just don't litter around."

"Yes sir."

Her mind is still focusing on Vanilla. And a sudden recollection hit her again. She remember, Vanilla scent mixed with rose and orange. That is the scent that envelope them together with the sandal wood and mint. She covered her mouth out of nervousness.. He, he remembered the scents of that night?!

"Let's go.. What are you spacing out about?" Her boss is frowning at her.

"Sorry, Sir." She stands up and follow the man who started to walk outside the office.

They use the elevator again to get down to the ground floor.

"Wanna hold my hands?" The man beside her suddenly asked.

She shook her head and rejected his offer. She's not actually scared using elevator, but since the man thought she does. She can't changed it. Let him be! Elijah actually is thinking deeply now so she closed her eyes again and lean the back of her head in the elevator wall. This man who she slept with, is her boss. She doesn't want him to recognize her specially during her OJT. And lastly, what if the man is already married and wanted to keep that night a secret? He's a dog, he won't kill her right?

"You'll get dizzy if you continue doing that." The man hoarse voice whispered in her ears again. But she didn't react this time. She's busy thinking.

If what she saw that night is real, the man having a tail. What is he actually? A half dog, half human? A reptilian? Or... A werewolf?

She frowned automatically when the thoughts came to her mind. Werewolf still exist? If that is true then, Vampires also still exist? How come?

"Come here.." The man grabbed her hands and the electric shock seperate them in an instant.

"What's that?" She asked.

The man also shocked. He tried to grabbed her hand again but Elijah keep it away out of scared.

"The was about to speak when the beep sound interrupted him. The elevator door opened.

" tch!" Her boss made that sound.

Is he irritated of her action? Is she not allowed to reject him?

"This way Sir." Joanna lead their way and she just followed them.

"Why are you walking slowly?" With the tone of irritation in his voice, Elijah flinched.

Her boss stopped just to wait for her?

"But I'm just your personal assistant Sir. Should I walk shoulder to shoulder with you?" She can't control her stubbornness. "Sorry." She apologize immediately when she saw him squinted his eyes while looking at her.

She then stepped closer to him and they continue walking. Joanna at that time is also wondering. Why do her boss is acting weird today?

"Sit beside me. Understand?" She heard him talking with the new employee.

"Why should I? It's your meeting." And the new employee keep answering with stubbornness.

But why does he keep himself being unaware of his new temporary personal assistant action? It seems like, she's allowing her to act stubbornly.

"I already told you, sometimes I urgently need something."

"Then, just give me a sign. I will stand at the corner."

"I said what I said. Don't you want your work?"

Oh! She was wrong. Her boss is actually still normal.

"It's fine if you wanted to change me, I can work to other department in this building." Elijah answered.

"No."

Joanna sighs.. Or not? Her boss is indeed weird today.

The two entered the room which everyone is actually waiting for the boss to arrived. Their eyes locked on the girl who also entered the room.

"Prepare a sit for her." He asked the person in charge inside the room.

Although the staff is also wondering, he still followed the order. He added another chair one meter away from the boss chair. But when the Boss is about to sit, he pulled the chair and put it beside him. Everyone is surprised. Elijah couldn't help but sigh.

"Sit here." His deep voice echoes inside the room so she just followed him.

Taking the seat, she can't even raise her head to look to everyone.

"Let's begin." The person beside her speak again.

After 30 minutes of everyone's reporting Elijah feels her baby hairs all over her body shivers.

The thick scent of Sandal wood with mint spreads in the air. And her body begun to tremble. Why? It's happening again? When she can't take it anymore, she stands up immediately and rushed to go out the door. She begun to pant and her throat begins to dry out. She can't help herself but to sit on the floor.

"Miss. Elijah, what's wrong?" Joanna come to the rescue.

"Water.. Please.. Give me water." She is panting while asking.

"Yes! Please wait.." The secretary get the water even she's confused.

"Hah! Hah!.." Elijah touched her nape when she feel it's itching.

"You..." She raised her head to look up the person behind her. It's her boss.. His eyes is full of questions than anger.

"Dwine? What are you doing out here?" The voice of a woman interrupted the tension between the two.

"Hah!" He hurriedly walk towards the woman and grabbed her arm. "Retract your Pheromone, damn it!" He whispered.

"What?!" The woman frowned.

Her pheromone? But she didn't emit her pheromone tho? And even she tried to emit it, Dwine will never be affected with her Vanilla scent.
