She act like a Cat

Elijah helped Joanna to prepare their food while Dwine is standing in the side of the table. Observing the angry girl who choose to do not talk. The situation is troubling him deep inside because it surprisingly affecting his entire system.

"Sir, everything's ready. You can start eating now." Joanna snapped out his thoughts.

"En." He nodded his head and looked to the angry cat. "Take your seat."

Elijah is indeed hungry but her pride is on the line now. This man didn't apologize to her even her name is now ruined in the mind of other employees. And that is because of her boss!

"What are you doing? I said take your seat, joined me for lunch." Dwine repeated his words but the girl didn't react at all so he got curious. What's wrong with her? He asked himself.

"Excuse me sir, Miss Sarah is on her way up here. She said she'll join you for your lunch." Joanna entered the room and got out again after that.

"Since your girlfriend is coming, I should take my leave now Sir. I'll be joining Joanna for lunch and I will come back after." Elijah bow her head as showing her respect to her boss before leaving.

Dwine was left alone inside his office with irritation written all over his face. He looked at the door that girl used to go out. Why does he feel like to break it? The door suddenly open again and the figure of woman entered. Sarah came in.

"What a perfect time! I came exactly at your lunch time." Sarah is happily step forward and take the seat that he offered to the angry cat. "Why do you look so dejected? Aren't you happy that I'll join you?"

"Why did you tell to my Assistant that you're my girlfriend?" He didn't answer her flirty question and asked her instead.

"That.. I didn't. I didn't tell her, maybe she just thought it that way since she saw you approached me this morning. And beside, isn't it normal for her to assume that? I am already recognize by your parents as your mate. So she actually guessing it right." Sarah explained.

"My parents recognized you but I did not." He said and without interest of listening to Sarah's words, he stood up and leave the table.

"Finished it all if you can, I'm stuffed." He continued before entering his private room inside the office.

He dropped his whole body on the bed and shut his eyes closed. He keep thinking about why the cat, doesn't like to talk to him. Did he irritate her? Did he do something wrong?

"The gossip.." He murmured.

He remember now, It was because of the gossip. The cat started working just this morning and she already is the topic of the gossip because of him.

"Damn!"

Meanwhile,

Elijah and Joanna is having their lunch together inside of the seven eleven in front of their building. The two bought their foods and now are having their happy chit-chat.

"I can't believe you actually yell at him!" Joanna is laughing while talking to her.

"Haha, I was actually nervous after realizing that. I thought he's gonna fire me on the spot."

"That was so epic! I saw him wrinkled his forehead and said, what a mess." Joanna Imitated their boss too.

The two laugh again and continue eating. After eating, they returned to their work. Elijah couldn't believe what she saw inside the office. The food is untouched. She looked around and found no one.

"Do they leave?" She asked herself.

Elijah look at the foods on the table again. Those foods looks so yummy.

"Well, It was originally mine in the first place, why hesitate to eat?" She even licked her lips before taking her seat and started eating.

Little did she know, the man who actually waiting for her, is now watching her while she eat. The sweet smile lined on his lips. Dwine couldn't watch any longer and finally decided to step closer. The cat noticed her presence so she looked up and saw him.

"Cough.. Cough.." Elijah choked by the food inside her mouth when she saw her boss walking towards her.

"Don't breathe for a second and drink water." She heard him say.

"W-Where have you been?" She recovered after following his advice.

"I never leave my office, so what's that question?"

"Then.." Elijah looked around and noticed the door that Joanna mentioned this morning. "Oh! I forgot." She said.

"May I join you?" Dwine take his seat even she didn't answer yet.

Well, why does he need her answer anyway? The two of them supposed to eat those foods for lunch.

"Where is your girlfriend? I thought she will join you Sir." She keep looking at the door.

"Stop looking for her, she already left." Dwine take a bite his food. "Does she told you that she's my girlfriend?"

"Not exactly but she said she have to seduce you..gasp!" Elijah covered her mouth.

What a bad mouth she have! Her boss looks so angry now.

"She said that?!" Dwine deep and cold voice echoes inside the room.

"No! She didn't! I.. I was the one who thought that way.." Elijah wave her hands too while trying to explain.

"You thought it that way? I see.. But did you know? I hate it if someone is lying to me."

Elijah gulped out of scared. She can tell now that her boss is really angry.

"I.. I'm.. Well you lied to me too.." She should apologize, yes she should but her f*cking mind is putting her in an awkward situation.

"I lied to you? When? How?" Dwine sits straight.

"You said, you'll show me the real you after we got here.. But you didn't. So you lied to me too."

Da*n! What now? She said it. Does he gonna fire her?

"I see.. Then stand up." Dwine moved his chair backward.

"En?"

"I said, stand up and follow me."

"Follow you to where?" Elijah blinked twice.

"To my room.." Dwine said while turning his back and walk towards his room door.
