Chapter 28 - Death as Expiation for Sins

Henry put his hand to his nose and smelled a strong and foul odor coming from the room.

"That smell! No doubt, this is the place!"

As Henry entered the room, the first natural reaction he felt was that his stomach was churning and he might vomit at any moment.

And how could he not?

There were carcasses of pigs, snakes, and other animals lying on the floor.

Meanwhile, at the far end, there were dozens of jars filled with thick liquid containing human hair.

From their color and shape, they were definitely the hairs of several people.

"Damn it! These must be the hairs of the people the old man used for his magic!"

Henry was about to approach the jars when he felt something move quickly toward him from the side.

Woosh!

The attack was incredibly fast, even faster than the attack by the security guards who had surrounded him at the Emgrand Hotel yesterday.

If he didn't have the Seed of God within him, the attack would have undoubtedly crushed his organs or even caused his death.
