The landlord saw that underground boss was not a man he could bargain with. He swallowed hard as the reality of his situation was beginning to sink in. The underground boss was not just making a threat, he was giving him an Ultimatum. Sign the papers, or face consequences far worse than being broke.

One of the man’s bodyguard moved forward and said. “Sign them. Or we will make sure you can not sign anything ever again.”

The landlord looked at the documents on the table again. He knew what was coming and his fear was obvious. But in spite of that, he could not just bring himself to sign. This property was his legacy. How could he just give it away so simply?
