At the Drogonuv corporation Headquarters, Justin was standing by the floor to ceiling windows in his office as he surveyed the cityscale below. He was thinking about Meeky and his family. He had not paid them any attention for awhile now and he felt he should do something about them as soon as possible. It's been some weeks he had not paid them any attention and it felt like the perfect chance to deliver his final blow on them.

He turned to Mark, his trusted assistant, who just came into the office. He was holding some documents and was looking over them as he came in. “I want us to initiate lawsuit against Meeky and his family.” He said with a steady voice. It was so smooth that you could feel the determination in it. “I want us to target their remaining asstes and make sure they have nothing left for themselves.”

His assistant, Mark, looked up with a surprised expression on his face. “But are you sure about this? We have already made them lose too much already and we have exposed th

When he called Paul, Paul also called Elara and they all showed up for the meeting.“What do we do now? Elara asked as soon as she came in to meet them. Her voice was trembling slightly as she spoke. “These lawsuits could wipe us out totally. We are still trying to keep out heads above water.”Meeky leaned back in his chair as he thought of what to say. He rubbed his temples as his frustration was building up. “we can not let this happen. We need to fight back. We can not let Justin destroy everything we have worked for and built. We will get the services of the best lawyers to help us.”Paul shook his head as he scoffed. “And where are we going to get the money? Money alone can not even fix this. If this guy has solid evidence, we will be fighting a lost case. We should consider a better approach, like a settlement. Maybe we can negotiate something that can allow us keep some of our assets, at least.”“Did you just say settle? Elara snapped. “Do you really think that may happen after

After the lawsuits had been filed and Justin was preparing for the court hearings, he was in his office one morning going through some documents, alongside his assistant, Mark, when his phone buzzed on the table, taking his attention away from the documents. He did not want to answer it as his mind was on the documents he was going through. Mark noticed it and looked at the phone's screen. “Who is it?” Justin asked if he saw Mark looking at the phone while he shuffled through the files he was with.“It is a number that is not saved.” Mark replied as he raised an eyebrow. “Do you want me to check it out?”“Leave it. Let it continue ringing. I am too busy for unsolicited calls at the moment.” Justin said as he returned his focus to the documents in front of him. However, as the phone continued to ring, he could not help but feel curious as to who might be calling.“Hold on, I will answer it.” He said suddenly as he reached out for the phone. He pressed the answer button to answer the c

Justin nodded at Mark, acknowledging the concern. “That is why I want to hear him out first. I will try to gauge his sincerity and assess what he knows and wants to tell me. If he is willing to open up, it could be a very good advantage for us.”Later that day, Justin texted Hartman the location of where they would meet. It was a cafe located in a trendy spot which is usually frequented by executives like themselves. It was a lively atmosphere as it buzzed with the conversation of those who came there to chill. When he got there, Hartman was already seated at a spot, waiting for him. He was looking nervous as he fidgeted with a napkin.Justin spotted him as soon as he got in. He had sent his picture for easy identification earlier.“Sir.” Hartman bowed slightly as he greeted Justin with a low voice. He wore a casual clothing that contrasted with the wealth he possessed. Justin had no idea why he did that.Justin acknowledged his greetings and took a seat. “Let us cut to the chase Jame

Justin was in his office a few days later and just some days away from the court hearing with his security team as they were assessing a recent threat. Given his case against Meeky and the way it has been intensifying, Meeky had resorted to untoward means to get back at Justin. Justin leaned back in his chair with his arms crossed, as he listened with rapt attention to his assistant, Mark, talking about the current situation.“Meeky is cornered and we all know cornered animals are the most dangerous. He is trying to use intimidation tactics and we have gotten credible reports of him making threats against you and your loved ones.”Justin felt his anger burn through him as the thought of Meeky stopping to such lows. “What kind of threats are we talking about here?” He asked with a firm but steady voice.“Direct threats against you, Jolce and even your family. Nothing is going to happen to me.” Justin said as he felt this urge to protect her and most importantly, himself. “Just make sure you stay close to home for sometime. He pulled out his phone to check for notification from his assistant as regards the foundation and also check for notifications from his security team. Everything seems to be in perfect order at the moment, and he made him calm, breathing in and out as he tried to calm himself down.Just then, he heard someone walking up to him in heels. The sound was clicking against the marble floor. He turned around to see Jolce stepping on to the balcony. She looked very elegant in her flowing red gown, her hair falling over her shoulder. He was momentarily surprised he saw her there. He had not invited her because of security reasons.“Justin, I had no idea you would be out here too.” She said with a warm smile. “You look dashing.”“Thank you Jolce.
