Justin could not imagine just how oblivious of the truth they were. And how they were so blinded by their hatred and prejudice for him that they could not help but think that he had to have snuck inside the headquarters to actually be there. This was how much they believed that he was really nothing but a rat. A poor street rat that had once been picked out of the streets by their daughter.

"Hmph." He smirked, ignoring their taunts and walking away towards the elevator. He was just a few steps away from going into the elevator when he felt himself being pulled back. He was immediately struck shocked.

He could immediately smell the fragrance of a very fancy perfume perforate all over his body. He turned back and saw that it was none other than the old couple pulling him from going, all their hands on deck.

"Hey! What is this?" He said in what one could only but say to be a deep feeling of annoyance. He could have clobbered them immediately, but with a raise from his hand, he immediatel

Justin took a long breath as he stared down at them shortly. Both their eyes stared back at him with the most anger, yet determined face ever. He groaned softly, feeling almost frustrated. He then wiggled quickly, trying to shake them off. But they still held him tightly."Wow! For an old couple, you sure have really good grip." He said under his breath, looking away from their faces."What did you say?" Mrs Tucson pitched in, her voice reeking with annoyance. She had seen his lips move, but wasn't able to hear not even a word that he said. Whether it was due to their age, or that his voice was truly inaudible, Justin didn't know. But it sure made him want to laugh, yet he held back. The struggles of holding back laughter was drawn all over his face and it only got his ex in-laws extremely angry. "What is so funny, you creep?" She asked again, her voice was shaking like she was about to cry."Are you laughing at us?" Mr Tucson eyebrows furrowed as he too, met the look on Justin's face

"Are you serious?" The receptionist asked in surprise. She knew very well who Justin was, but could not imagine what may have given them such view of him."Yes, I am serious. Do you see me laughing? It's a good thing we stopped him before he could go in there." Mrs Tucson answered angrily. She can't be that dumb, she thought to herself as she looked at the receptionist. But then, she remembered that her husband disliked dumb people, and she lightened up. It was really a win for her. "If you don't call the police, then I'll have to." She said, then turned to her husband. "Right, dear?""Yes, yes. We'll call the police." He nodded in agreement. "This wretched thing should be thrown out of here. He should be punished, so he never does something like this again.""You all should be careful here. You can't just let anybody in, especially this poor rat. You know that the boss wouldn't be happy if any of his items were stolen.""That's right. Mr Nelson would be so annoyed if a little thief w

"Of course, I will." The receptionist smiled widely as she wondered what would happen. "Please, take your seats right over there. Thank you once again." "You're welcome, miss. We are glad we could be of help. The truth is that there is absolutely no way we would let the boss be robbed. We both know that he doesn't deserve that. And we will always be glad to help.""Yes. My husband is right. Our loyalty lies with the boss and nothing will ever change it. That poor thief will get what he deserves. He's being taken to the police station, right?" Mrs Tucson asked."Yes. That is exactly where he is going. You don't have to worry about him anymore." The receptionist smiled and nodded at them. "I really can't say how grateful I am for your help.""It's nothing, child. We would do it any day and any time. Just don't forget to tell the boss about it. He would be so glad if he knew." "Of course. In fact, I will do that right now. Please settle down and wait." They smiled at each other and walked in to the elevator as soon as it opened. The men followed right after them, then one of them pressed a button representing the floor they were ascending to. They stopped talking as soon as the flight to the sixth floor began. The elevator dinged when they had reached the floor and opened up slowly."This way, please." One of the men said, ushering them out of the elevator. Mr Tucson and his wife smiled as they stepped out of the elevator. One of the men walked ahead of them, while the other followed behind them."I felt a bit dizzy back in the elevator. I almost fell." Mrs Tucson said while touching her forehead lightly."Ahhh! Me too. It was going at such great speed. It's been quite long we used this type of elevator." Her husband agreed. "But this is the ultimate treatment, if you ask me. He really asked these men to come downstairs and see us to his office. It is really an honour. I can't wait to see the look on his face when he sees us. We rea

Justin sat in his car, just few meters away from the building. He had wanted to check out some company file, but his nosey ex in-laws interrupted him, and almost ruined his day. He wasn't in his best mood, but good enough, he wasn't in his worst mood either. His eyes were fixed on the phone in his hands, and just then, a call came in."Hello." He answered the phone immediately without changing the look on his face."Hello sir. Please, where are you?" It was his assistant, Mark."Why are you asking, Mark? What is it?""I just arrived at the headquarters but you aren't there. I wanted to...""Something happened there so I decided to leave. I couldn't stay there or do what I wanted to do anymore. But I am not far away. Just come outside the gate, my car isn't parked far from there.""Okay, sir. I'm on my way." Mark nodded and ended the call. Immediately, he walked out of the building and out of the gate. Once outside, he looked both ways and sighted Justin's car, about two blocks to the

"Hello, sir," a voice came from the end of the line. Justin picked the call while staring outside at Mark, his assistant, who stood there as if waiting to be given a task to complete once again. The person calling, was the manager of one of the Drogonuv's company. Alumity. An aluminum making company."Yes, hello," he said. "What is going on?""A lot, sir," the voice said, anxious and seemingly out of breath. "There is something going on right here in the aluminum fields. A bunch of people are outside staging a protest for whatever reason. I can't tell why exactly they are doing so." Justin panicked for a bit of time but strived not to show it, as he maintained a calm voice. "Why? What exactly happened? Who are they?""I cannot exactly tell, sir. The protest seems to have a lot of causes, but the main problem according to their spokes person is that they are customer who have brought products from us before. They are all complaining that the aluminum we use is fake, and all our pro

"What did the boss say?" A staff member asked the anxious manager who kept staring every now and then through the window, restlessness as clear as day on his face. He seemed to have not heard the first time, so the staff asked again."I have told you, god damn it!" The manager burst into anger. "He did not say anything. Nothing useful to tell these people. You all should cut me some slack. I am just the manager. I am not the one to tell you what to do."The face of the staff members and the other workers looked as pale a death. One could tell just how worried they were of the outside situation."But then what are we supposed to do?" The staff member asked once again. This time the manager turned to face him with anger. His eyes were red, as well as his face. Any moment more and it was almost as though smoke would be expelled from his ears. Saved by the bell, all of a sudden telephone rang. The manager's anger subsided as picked it."Hello sir," he said at once. "What's going on now?

The entire staff thought that the manager would go down on his knees at that instant to apologize, but the reverse was the case. Rather, the manager, as if to take Justin's words seriously, to go on with his charade, turned his back to stare at his boss rather defiantly. Soon he did what no one would have ever though he would do. "Yes, I stand by my words, sir," he continued with fiery passion. "I called you incompetent because that is what you are, dear sir. You are not fit to be the heir of this empire. That is if I am afforded the right to say what I want to say." Justin could only watch this happening right in front of him. He was not surprised. For years he had been through far worse things, being called far less than incompetent, and have been treated very much like a pig, betrayed and stabbed at the back. There was nothing the manager was saying that sounded different or unique in some sense to Justin. He was just rehashing every word that have been told to him over the yea
