As Justin walked to the podium, the chanting intensified. The protesters thought that he was just another puppet sent to try and silence them with threats, just like Michael. But Justin was not intimidated by the excess noise, he flashed a warm smile at the audience as he positioned on the podium before he began speaking. And that simple act provided them with a different conviction about him. But they couldn't quite conclude yet. "Good morning, ladies and gentlemen." He started calmly, in a stern voice. His poise and confidence filled the air. And almost immediately, the whole place was extremely quiet. "I am Justin Drogonuv. And today, I have heard your complaints. I understand that this protest was necessary for you to be heard. And I apologise for the stress and discomfort it may have put you through.""Are you finally going to listen to us?"One of the protesters yelled."What will be done about it then?" Another protester added. Justin took a deep breath before he answered."Aga
"What is going on, Diana?” Lilly said as soon as she got into the house. She threw her bag to one side of the room and it landed on one of the couches."What do you mean?" Diana asked, sitting up."Mom and dad, of course. Have you seen them?" Lilly almost yelled. She looked around hastily and sighed."I haven't seen them since they left. I'm getting really worried but I do not want to entertain any negative thoughts. I really hope they are fine.""Arghh..." Lilly sighed in frustration as she looked around for her phone. She immediately sighted her bag on one of the couches and reached out to grab it. "This is really frustrating.""Try to calm down. I have a feeling that we're being worried for nothing. But I can't help it." She sighed and got to her feet. She began pacing to and fro the room as she thought of what might have happened. "What if they went to visit a friend, or a business partner?""Then they would have told us. Even if dad didn't say anything, I'm sure mom would have ca
"Are you sure?" Lilly asked worriedly. "I don't know why but I have a bad feeling about this. They never go anywhere without telling us. And even if they do, they always make sure to inform us, so we don't worry about them. This is really unlike them.""Calm down, sis. I can assure you that they are fine. Get rid of all your negative thoughts, okay? I'll do my findings and get back to you as soon as possible. But right now, you both shouldn't work yourselves up any more.""Then what about Bruce?" Lilly sighed. The worry she felt was intertwined with her voice, such that anybody would notice that they was really something wrong. "It's been days and I haven't heard anything from him as well. Have you seen him? Or heard anything at all about him?""I'm sorry, Lilly. But I haven't heard anything. But if I do, I will let you know. But about your parents, there is no need to be worried. I'm sure that they are absolutely fine.""Okay. Thank you." She forced a smile and handed the phone back
"It's a good thing the protest ended well. So where do we go from here, sir?" Mark asked as the got in to the car."Back to the headquarters, of course. They might be new issues to attend to." Justin replied as he drove off. As they went down the road, Justin sighted something in front. A police car was parked on the side of the road, and in front of the car was another vehicle. And the officers were gathered by the side. "What is going on here?" Justin asked himself in a whisper and pulled over at the other side of the road. He got out of the car and began walking towards where the officers were gathered, and Mark followed."Excuse me." Justin said as they approached the officers. They were three tall men dressed in the police uniform. They turned to look at who was speaking and turned away just as soon. In the car they stood by, Justin could see a young man with dark brown hair. He looked very young, so Justin wondered what the problem might be."Excuse me." Justin repeated. "What i
Justin smirked and wiped the tip of his nose. He looked at the officer with concentrated eyes and spoke once more."I am saying this again, officer. Let them go right now, or you will have to pay for this with your job. And I'm talking to every single one of you."The young man who was being harassed sat still, obviously waiting to be let off. He watched in admiration and he wondered who this man was."Who are you, sir?" One of the officers said from behind, with both his hands hanging on his belt. His manner of approach was filled with curiosity, showing that he was wondering who Justin was as well. Specifically because he spoke with so much authority and class.Justin laughed lightly and looked to the floor, thinking about the best answer to give. He was definitely not going to spill the fact that he was a Drogonov. But right before he could say anything, officer Nate interrupted, stretching his arm in front of the officer who had just asked the question like he was protecting him f
"Well, well, well. Look who we have here." Lilly said as she pulled the car over and stuck her face out through the window on the side her sister was seating. "If it isn't Justin. What are you doing here?" She asked almost casually with a wide smile across her lips."Hi there, Ms Tucson." Officer Nate smiled and waved. She turned to look at his face, but squinted as she did not recognize him."I'm sorry, officer. But do I know you?" Her voice was soft and pleasant."Not exactly, ma'am. But I know that you are...""Oh, that's fine." She interrupted him almost immediately. It was rude but it didn't exactly seem so because of how widely she smiled. "So what is going on here, officer? Seems like a lot of racket.""Well, this unknown man decided to disrupt our duties. But it isn't anything we can't handle." Officer Nate answered immediately."Oh, Justin." She made a sad face, bending her neck to the side. "Don't tell me you're trying to be the superhero. The superhero who fights against t
Mark frowned as he heard those words, immediately turning to his boss. But Justin had yet an unbothered look on his face."But we can't beat him up, ma'am. He hasn't exactly posed any threat." Officer Nate stated."Well, I don't care. I am ordering you three to beat that man up right now." Diana said, almost yelling."You heard her. Beat the living daylight out of him, since he has decided to be so stubborn." Lilly added. Officer Nate breathed in and moved closer to Justin."You may leave now, sir." He said calmly. Justin looked at him blankly without moving a muscle. Seeing that Justin wasn't making any moves at leaving, he stretched his arm to touch him. "I said you should...""Don't you dare touch him officer. Do not." Mark said defensively. His eyes were burning with rage at both the sisters and the officers. But what he couldn't really understand was why Justin stayed quiet and still as everything went on. "Are you going to let them go or what?""Are you dumb or something? Leave
Justin's assistant, seeing that the situation was getting out of hand, decided that it would be better if he reached out to the authorities behind the Police."What are you going to do if we decide to beat you up too?" One of the police men said to Justin and him."Well just try it, and watch you lose your jobs, you tyrant," Mark said, even more angry than Justin at the situation they had found themselves. The phone rang for a few seconds and was picked immediately after that. "Hello," a grumpy voice came in from the phone."Hello sir," Mark said into it. "Yes, Mr. Mark, what brings you calling my phone this morning?" the voice said."Sir, it's urgent. We have some of your men here trying to beat an innocent couple on the road. And when we tried to stop them, I and my boss, they threatened to beat us to a pulp. Even now they are still doing so.""What?" The voice exclaimed in anger. "If I am not mistaken, your boss is the Drogonuv heir, right? Even so, I would not let a few police
